Has got immutability feature but needs to improve initial seed
We use the tool for Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint OneDrive.  The recovery options in Microsoft 365 are not adequate and it does not help to recover data from the recycle bin that is older than 90 days. The solution has made us more efficient and helps to recover data that is older than 90…

Cost-effective and has excellent technical support
We mainly used Druva Phoenix for data backup and disaster recovery I found the cost-effectiveness of Druva Phoenix to be its most valuable feature, especially when compared to on-premises backup solutions. Using Druva Phoenix for three to five years was a cost-effective choice. Additionally, I…

"The recovery options in Microsoft 365 are not adequate and it does not help to recover data from the recycle bin that is older than 90 days. The solution has made us more efficient and helps to recover data that is older than 90 days."
"The initial setup is super easy."
"It is the only product in the market that offers platform backup."

"I found the cost-effectiveness of Druva Phoenix to be its most valuable feature, especially when compared to on-premises backup solutions."

Cons

"I would like to see improvements in the tool's initial seed. The initial seed of around 10 TB of SharePoint data took 45 days to complete."
"Some customers choose other backup solutions because AvePoint is Office 365 and CRM backup system, but they have other backup needs for Azure and so on. Such customers often choose another backup solution instead of AvePoint."
"For improvement, AvePoint can provide details on how the tool's backup scope works."
"It is not a traditional restore process and it is somewhat limited in what we can do."
"The component in the product that can be improved revolves around the area where the tool should focus on providing more of a custom touch to the policies."
"It is challenging for small or medium-sized businesses to purchase it."
"The product's price is an area of concern where improvements are required."
"It would be beneficial to have a more optimal Google Backup for larger environments."
"Druva Phoenix is optimized to work with x86 platforms, making it unsuitable for backing up non-x86 architectures like AIX. The solution is primarily designed for physical Linux and Windows systems based on the x86 architecture, as well as virtualized Windows and Linux environments. However, if you have an AIX system, it cannot be deployed in the cloud, and therefore, backing it up in the cloud is not a concern."
"There is room for improvement in the reporting aspect of Druva Phoenix."
"They were able to give us a very reasonable price considering we were non-for-profit organizations, however, there is always room for improvement on that cost."
"Druva Phoenix should include a few reporting features that it doesn't provide currently."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I am not sure, but I believe that the cost is $7 USD per user."
"It costs a little bit more than other competitors in the market."
"I rate the product's price a nine on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap and ten is expensive."
"I would say that the pricing policy of the product is flexible and good."
"The platform is more expensive than other vendors."
"The pricing part of the solution is based on a subscription model, which is based on the number of users or storage capacity."
"It is very good for many of my customers in the banking and finance segments. The price isn't a problem there, but in some other industries, people ask for a cheaper solution. When the price is an issue for the customer, we recommend Veeam, Metallic."
"Druva Phoenix's pricing is based on the service provided, and it's reasonable. The cost of the service will depend on the size of your data and the number of virtual machines being backed up. However, the pricing structure is straightforward and easy to understand."
"We’ve had experience with the data center for a while and we have had solutions that were able to support older versions of the operating systems that we needed. I would like for Druva to support it as well."
"I assume clients use Druva Phoenix because it is cheaper than other products."
