Delivers lightweight protection while facing challenges with technical aspects
I have been working with Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security for quite a long time, but recently, I do not appreciate their changes, especially on the technical side. They moved some portions to remote GUI-based interfaces. The Command Line Interface (CLI) is not improving. Even experienced personnel are finding it difficult. There is a power user function where you can stop it temporarily for installing applications. Previously, we had the option to click on the power user button and enter the password to allow stopping that particular function. Now, we have to do it via CLI, which even technical personnel struggle to understand. Currently, everything is working fine except for the technical aspects we can control. If they can revert to the old system, that would be much better. When we raise this issue with Bitdefender, they cite security reasons for the change. However, while Cisco is moving away from CLI to GUI, Bitdefender is moving backward. Normal users cannot handle these CLI operations effectively.

Reduces the time to detect and respond with moderate pricing
The centralized control feature is excellent. It provides a user-friendly interface for managing items and active endpoints, making it easy for central managers to control the network. I recommend it, but we need some documentation or a presentation from Seqrite. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"We use patch management to keep our software up-to-date, significantly mitigating our risk of vulnerabilities. We're confident that Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security will either already know about new threats and have updated our machines, or they'll advise us quickly on mitigating them until an update is available."
"I find Bitdefender to be very light. When we were using the other versions, users would complain that they would make the computers slow. But since we have deployed Bitdefender, we haven't had that."
"The product offers an opportunity to monitor the things happening in our network. It also has a comprehensive dashboard."
"The installation is easy and it takes approximately a few hours. We are deploying it from a Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tool. All you need to do is click on it and the installation is complete."
"When it comes to the web, according to our customers, this product stands out due to its superior performance compared to others."
"The most valuable features of Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security are remote administration and deployment, comprehensive firewall protection, malware protection, and antivirus."
"I like its unified interface, which also helps you scan Outlook email, for example. Multiple products can be standardized across endpoints or the EDR solution, and the integrations with SIEMs."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security has a lot of telemetry that allows me to really see what's going on with the device."
"Seqrite has significantly reduced the time it takes to detect and respond."
"The solution installs very easily."

Cons

"At this point in time, the download footprint is a bit big."
"Potential areas for improvement could be more accessible and immediate support for critical situations, especially considering the regulatory challenges in healthcare."
"The solution must be more user-friendly."
"They've got all this training that's available, but it involves stuff that doesn't really encompass the solution as a whole."
"There are compatibility concerns as Bitdefender does not support Windows 7."
"The phishing feature report showed zero results, and the patch management component is one of the two main issues that need improvement."
"Sometimes the response from Technical Support takes more time than usual because level three support is not in Brazil."
"Overall, Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security is quite good. It always has new features which customers can use for free, so I can't say that something is missing in the solution, though one area for improvement is that the cloud version of Bitdefender GravityZone Enterprise Security still can't connect to a central SIEM. The on-premises version has that capability, but the cloud version doesn't."
"The solution should focus on security, documentation, and simplicity for beginners."
"The security is too week and needs improvement."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Its price has gone up since our last renewal. My renewal fee has gone from $517.99 in 2018 for 3 years to $739.99 when it renews this year in July. I love the product, but a price increase of over 40% is a bit exorbitant."
"It has very flexible licensing costs, and it's modular-based."
"The product's pricing is okay and it is yearly."
"We pay for an annual license which is affordable."
"The price is fair."
"The license is yearly."
"The tool is not expensive and pricing is competitive."
"In India, licensing is based on annual contracts. It's not extremely expensive, but not the cheapest either. I'd rate it somewhere around seven or eight out of ten."
