We use Backup Exec (2010) and it is very slow.
I understand they've improved since then and, thus, I would like to see if anyone can share a speed comparison for the Veeam Backup Exec 2021's version vs Veeam Backup & Replication.
Please assist with your insights.
Backup Exec 2020 -backup job:
- virtual machines: 4GB/min;
- MS SQL: 8GB/min;
- duplicate to tape (LTO 8)- 8-10GB/min.
The time depends on the speed of the storage source/destination.
