Easy to configure and use, and improved our customer satisfaction
We work with the end-to-end Fortinet portfolio, especially their UTM firewall, anti-APT, and EDR solutions Fortinet has improved our customer satisfaction. This is primarily what I see. Fortinet FortiEDR is easy to use. It is easy to deploy, manage, and configure. Fortinet helps free up around 14…

Averagely priced, has a straightforward installation, and worth recommending to the mid-level market, but its performance needs improvement
At the moment, I haven't found any issues with Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus, because the customer base is not very high, so I didn't find anything yet. The company I'm in is also providing EMC, as the security settings are done based on customer requirements, so right now, I haven't found any issues. What would make Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus better is for it to have good, easy, and straightforward administrative and troubleshooting functions that I've seen in other enterprise solutions such as SentinelOne, FireEye, and CrowdStrike. I have not observed these in Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus. For example, in SentinelOne, I've tested it and in test scenarios, the solution detects a threat, then gives you the exact location of where the threat is, and which files are affected. Sophos also has that feature. I sell Sophos and I've seen that it works pretty well. It also detects threats and shows me the location, and which machines are affected. In Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus, I didn't see these happening. The solution seems to be pretty amateur for an EDR solution, and it should be more in sync in terms of features, with solutions such as FireEye and SentinelOne. If you go to any review site, you will find that Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus has much fewer reviews compared to SentinelOne and FireEye. Its performance could be better. If Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus can be advertised better, for example, you can give it to the enterprise people so more people can give reviews about it that would help make its performance better.

Reliable, scalable and very simple to set up
The problem is that if you have a lot of different components going on, each managed under a different umbrella, then you're going to be spending a lot of time hopping back and forth between the different components to see, "Well, I got hit here. What did my firewall see? I got hit in the firewall, the firewall says it allowed that attack in, did it land on anything to compromise any of my endpoints?" I see that all the time. That's a question I always have in the reports I give my customers. "Okay. So this happened last month. And as you can see, there were all these attacks knocking at the door, but none were allowed through." If someone got through, then I'm going to be concerned.

"Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus is highly stable."
"It never fails. Bitdefender always catches all of the viruses that have been detected on customer sites."
"I find Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus to be a pretty good solution for the mid-level market, specifically for organizations with up to two hundred fifty users. I like that it is an averagely priced solution. It also has a straightforward installation that can be completed within three to five minutes. Its technical support is also good enough."
"Solution for endpoint detection and response, with good stability and scalability. Users also benefit from email protection and data loss prevention."

"The dashboard is user-friendly."
"The performance is good."

Cons

"We've had a lot of false positives; things incorrectly flagged that require manual configuration to allow. Even worse, after we allow a legitimate program, it sometimes gets flagged again after an update. This has caused a lot of extra work for my team."
"I would like the solution to extend beyond endpoint protection and include other attack surfaces such as other network components."
"To improve Fortinet, we need to see more features and technology areas at the endpoint level introduced."
"Cannot be used on mobile devices with a secure connection."
"The solution should address emerging threats like SQL injection."
"The amount of usage, the number of details we get, or the number of options that can be tweaked is limited in comparison to that with other EDR solutions"
"The only minor concern is occasional interference with desired programs."
"The dashboard isn't easy to access and manage."
"The solution seems to be pretty amateur for an EDR solution, and it should be more in sync in terms of features, with solutions such as FireEye and SentinelOne."
"Adding a feature like Data Loss Prevention would be beneficial."
"The mobile version needs improvement."
"The solution must improve its management features."
"The EDR could be improved, and perhaps the User Interface."
"There is room for improvement in terms of stability and updates."
"I would like the solution to have more functions and to be more user-friendly."
"The after sales service and support could be improved."
"Technical support can be improved. There could be shared support, i.e. where someone in Egypt can respond."
"When I use a proxy, I can bypass Sophos, which is an area that needs improvement."
"The deployment part needs to be improved."
"Better protection in the endpoint, server, and mobile is needed."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It's not cheap, but it's not expensive either."
"It is expensive and I would rate it 8 on the scale."
"We got a good deal on licensing, so it is in the competitive range."
"The price is comprable to other endpoint security solutions."
"The pricing is typical for enterprises and fairly priced."
"I'm not familiar with pricing, but it looks a bit costly compared to other vendors I think."
"Fortinet FortiEDR has a yearly subscription."
"The pricing is good."
"We have purchased licenses for the use of Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus. The price of the solution is reasonable but could be better."
"Bitdefender GravityZone Ultra Plus is pretty average, meaning it's not cheaper, but it's pretty good. It has average pricing."
"It's a very good price for MSP. It's cheaper than Symantec."
"The price of this solution is a little high compared to competitors because they do not have a proper pricing structure."
"I find the pricing to be a little bit expensive, although it is acceptable, for now."
"The product is moderately priced."
"Price-wise, it is good. Currently, we have a three-year plan."
"Licensing is based on the number of users. They give a discount for editors who are considered as important members. From what I know, Sophos products are not expensive. If you have a license extension, you just need to contact the editor or partner to change the mode of licensing or extend the license to cover more people."
"We were able to eliminate the ransomware using the one-month, full-featured trial license."
"I would rate the price 7 out of 10, where 1 is most expensive and 10 is cheapest. Also, a little reduction in price can be a great move for Intercept X Endpoint."
"The pricing is actually quite reasonable."
