Oracle Exadata Express Cloud Service Reviews

I work for a company that implements analytics solutions, so I'm not an end-user. I'm a data architect and consultant in that area. Exadata Express Cloud Services is usually used for small to medium-sized enterprises. 

I would like to see Express add some more of the features from the Enterprise Edition.

I've been working with Oracle Exadata for 15 years. When we started using Exadata, it was only available as an on-premises appliance, but they moved this technology to the cloud to make it more flexible.

Exadata is a highly stable and mature solution.

In the cloud, Exadata is more scalable. The on-prem version was limited. It wasn't that scalable because it only came in a quarter rack, half rack, and full rack. In the cloud, it scales to what you need.

Oracle's support could be better. There are a lot of online materials with all the error codes, and lots of information is available on Oracle's knowledge basis. This is great. But if you have a real problem that nobody else had before and need to create a ticket, the support you get could be better.

The cloud version of Exadata is easy to set up.

I think Oracle pricing is usually above average market price.

I rate Exadata Express Cloud Service an eight out of 10.

Public Cloud

I am talking about Oracle Exadata Express Cloud Service. My primary use case is handling IT servers for a large number of users, specifically in Brazil, and managing billions or trillions of records. I use it as a developer to consume the database service.

Oracle Exadata Express Cloud Service has excellent support and reliability, which I trust completely. It offers a premium solution with tools like SQL Developer. The scalability is very good, and there are no issues with that. The database solution can handle a very large amount of data efficiently. The support and the overall reliability make it stand out from other databases.

I am not the perfect person to discuss improvements needed because I am not responsible for the database. I use it as a developer, and everything works fine for me. However, there might be others in my company who could provide more insight into areas of improvement.

I have used Oracle Database, including Oracle Exadata Express Cloud Service, for a long time, maybe ten years or more. However, Exadata is relatively new to me.

We don't have any troubles or issues with Oracle Exadata Express Cloud Service. The stability is very good.

Oracle Exadata Express Cloud Service has a good solution for scalability, and there are no problems with scalability.

Oracle provides an excellent product with very good support and customer service. I am very satisfied with their support.

I use Oracle Database a lot, but Oracle Exadata is quite new for me. Previously, I also utilized databases like Oracle Database without the Exadata infrastructure.

Oracle Exadata Express Cloud Service is a very expensive database solution. The cost is high due to on-premise licenses. However, it offers a premium solution without issues or problems.

I have not evaluated other specific solutions apart from using Oracle Database.

I highly recommend Oracle Exadata Express Cloud Service as a very good solution if you can afford it. I rate the overall solution a ten out of ten.
