Yep. But oracle shutdown sparc os. So that means oracle linux on intel
architecture is inevitable. There may be some trade-offs of course :
- sparc admins vs linux admin cost
- sparc performance vs oracle performance optimizations
Many cost risks can be hedged.

Answered a question: Microsoft sql2017 VS SAP Hana
Sap hana is a in-memory database and expensive. If there is a sap r/3 , you may consider Hana, otherwise no need.
