About me
My name is Joe Dissmeyer and I live in central Florida with my beautiful wife and children. My current job title is "Programmer Analyst" for a very large corporate entity. In this position I am able to utilize my application skills, as well as my SolarWinds Orion experience. Prior to accepting this position I worked as a Network Engineer at a higher education institution, a level two Service Desk Technician at a college institution's headquarters in central Florida, and before that I was a Service Desk Technician for a Fortune 100 company whose business is 3rd party logistics. In each position held, my superiors have recognized me for my achievements in critical IT projects that I led or took part in.
I am always looking to further my knowledge in IT by experimenting with technology hands-on. I consider IT Certifications an important part of my career and I always look forward to the next certification goal. I am an active member in the IT community by volunteering my time and expertise on the Microsoft Answers forums, the Spiceworks Community, and the world at www.joedissmeyer.com.
My latest book release is "SolarWinds Orion Network Performance Monitor" published by Packt Publishing in April of 2013.
