I started my career in 1996 as a Business Recovery Engineer for one of the big 4 banking groups in South Africa. I was moved around from branches to later be based at various head-office environments. In 1998 was when I was exposed to the Learning and Development space that I got excited and passionate about people development. I was involved in setting up the first e-Learning department at the bank and from here on end I evolved to become a specialist in the Learning, Talent and Performance Management systems.

In 2008 I felt a need for further development and change of scenery. I stepped out of my comfort zone and joined a motor manufacturer, initially as an e-learning developer, but at the same time, the Dealer Academy was in the process of implementing a LMS, SABA. I stepped up and moved from a developer role to implementing and launching the LMS to 36 dealerships in 10 months. When I was not travelling I was supporting the Dealer Academy with their system administration functions, analytics and general support functions.

During my time at the Dealer Academy, I completed various courses such as Project Management, Personal Mastery and Business and Systems analysis.
