I am a Technical Support Engineer for the hosting solution at Interoute. I support VMware and Windows systems.

My previous challenge was as a System Engineer, member of IT Support team for R&D department at Solarwinds. I managed and implemented Microsoft, VMware, Linux, Solarwinds or any other software solutions that are necessary for Development, Testing and Support teams.

I’ve come to Solarwinds on the System Administrator position from IBM where I was (on my last challenge) a 3rd level Support as part of the Wintel Project (Windows and VMware) team. During this challenge I managed a Disaster Recovery exercise as expert for VMware and Windows.

I started in IBM as 2nd level System Administrator as part of the Wintel Italian team (covering administration of over 3000 servers).

Before IBM I worked as an IT Manager for Telelink Services Romania. I managed IT – all contracts for IT department, all implementations, and administration - for a small company with a bit over 100 employees (when I started) in 4 locations in the country. For a short period of time (half a year more or less) I was people manager – 1 employee on helpdesk position. I managed the ISO 27001 certification for the company (the company got certified).

An important challenge before any of the above was the Jr. Network Administrator for ArtWeb, here is where I practiced, improved and developed further, my creative skills as web designer (html, php, flash animation). This is a very important time as I solidified my creative side (maybe the most important of all).

One equal important challenge was as IT Technician at Camscape Services Romania. Here I’ve built my passion for computers, for IT.
