About me

Extensive experience with test architecture, test suite/case management, and test direction for multiple projects. My development experience helps with understanding how to componentize major test efforts into testable units. Led test direction on a 2+ year project at prior company, now the sole test resource in a "Big Data" ETL environment and veterinary practice communications platform (IDEXX Pet Health Network Pro). Extensive Oracle/MySQL query experience in testing.

I am trained as a Scrum Master. 6+ years COBOL development experience. Also helped to architect a home-brewed C# test automation solution leveraging a custom-built XML schema for test case execution and maintenance. Also some experience with the automation tools TestComplete and Ranorex. Currently writing automated tests using Java/TestNG which also leverages UI testing within Saucelabs and Selenium. Very familiar with source control tools such as Git, SVN, etc. Have used Jenkins for build/CI for years.

Specialties: Full QA testing cycle, Agile/Scrum development methodology, JIRA, Confluence, QAComplete, Rally, Test automation, XML, RDBMS testing, Amazon AWS systems, TFS, COBOL, Software development, Systems analysis, Top-tier support lead, UNIX/scripting, HyperV and VMWare Administration, HTML, PC Repair/builds
