I am Patrick de Witt and I am a member of the partnership BiDWH which is part of company The Future Group connecting over more than 200 professionals on various areas like Business Intelligence and datawarehouse, SAP, Oracle, Java, Testing, Architecture, Project Management and Human Resource.

I am a senior consultant in business intelligence and datawarehouse and I like to close the gap between business and IT. Without the business there is no IT and without IT delivering the right data and tools, making the right decisions will be much harder for the business. Getting the requirements from the business and understand them fully is the most important part for making the best possible solutions.

Making the best possible solutions, like interactive reports, pixel-perfect reports and dashboarding, can only be worthwhile if the data has been setup in the right way. For that purpose the datawarehouse comes in, containing related, merged, enriched and consolidated data from all kinds of sources. Big Data solutions complement the analysis that can be done on the datawarehouse for marketing, sales and other reasons, where as Big Data itself can be a valuable asset for the datawarehouse.

Due to the fact that I have been working from 1986 in many roles, many platforms and many tools, I am able to advise the business on what they want and what’s needed to get it done.
