Replied to JeffSmith12 What is the best workload automation tool in the market?
I have used SMA Opcon since 2004.  What benefited us most about the product is that there are agents that run on multiple platforms of which you can use dependencies across the multiple platforms.  My environment had a Unisys MCP Agent along with two windows agents.  We also…

Answered a question: Why is Workload Automation important for companies?
Workload Automation is so important to businesses because it takes repetitive tasks and streamlines them into automated businesses processes.  It frees up the worker so they can concentrate on the other tasks they are responsible for.  Workload automation tools will be able…

Commented on What They Don't Tell You About ERP
Hi. This question interested me. An ERP company can have a fantastic demo team that shows you all the capabilities in the system, the bells, and whistles. They are there for the dog and pony show. Then it is up to the implementation team to make the system work as needed…

Answered a question: What are your Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) predictions for 2022?

For instance, an employee application system not being part of the HR/Payroll ERP and needing to…

About me
I have worked in IT for 36+ years. All my experience has been in higher education. I started out as a computer operator and moved up the ranks into programming, systems manager, director, and was Associate Dean until I retired in September 2022. During my final years at PHSC. they migrated from our legacy system which runs on a Unisys MCP environment to a cloud-based system called Anthology Student for SIS and Anthology FHP for Finance, HR and Payroll.
After my retirement, I consulted with the College of Southern Idaho as a Project Manager for their implementation of Anthology Student and Anthology FHP. I now have a permanent position with CSI as a Product Experience Specialist. My job responsibilities include Anthology FHP, the Integrations between Student and FHP, and the security in both systems.
