I am currently an IT Security Engineer with 20+ years experience in IT (12 years in IT Security). I have a background in configuration and support of firewalls, web proxies, web application firewalls, network segmentation, IPS/IDS, SIEM, ACLs, LDAP, SSL VPN, directory services, certificate authorities, vulnerability scanning, incident response/forensics, policy creation, and account maintenance.

Before joining IT Security, I worked in server support with experience in Microsoft servers, Active Directory domains, web servers, network backbones, domain migrations, group policy, server hardware, disaster recovery plans and virtual servers.

I am very passionate about my work and I am eager to take on new challenges and responsibilities. I never want to stop learning and that is reflective in my ongoing education and certifications. I enjoy taking on new technologies and implementing new ideas to solve old problems. My favorite part of a project is working with a team to come up with a solution to a hard problem.

I hold active CISSP, GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT), Security+, and Checkpoint CCSE certifications. Past certifications include MCSE+I, MCSE, MCP+I, MCP, CCNA, Sniffer SCP, and A+.
