Find out in this report how the two Backup and Recovery solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The solution has been very stable."
"It has helped us to provide comprehensive data protection with high recovery rates and a malware scanning feature."
"The agentless architecture has minimized our software footprint at the client level."
"I have found all the features useful in the solution."
"The main feature for Veeam is that it's built primarily for virtualization, such as VMware or Hyper-V."
"It's got a very good user-friendly interface. It's easy to use."
"It is a good product, in regards to performance, as well as data protection."
"It is a rock-solid backup solution. That's all, and that's what we were asking for."
"No problems with stability."
"The most valuable feature is the ability to restore the VMs into a test environment."
"Veeam Backup Replication's most valuable features are the ease of use and the interface is very configurable for the users. It's a very familiar solution in Algeria."
"The technical support is excellent. It's one of the best I've met so far."
"They should improve the malware scanning capabilities, extending it to protect cloud application data."
"The management could be a bit better."
"During the initial setup especially, there's a bit of a learning curve."
"Although the solution offers documentation, it has it only in English, which doesn't help us much in Belarus."
"I think Veeam needs to improve the file installation process, as well as more technical things like snapping feature issues. Sometimes during backup, when it's taking the scan snaps on the ESXi, it started and didn't remove the snapshot from there, which consumed storage on the EXSi. It could be improved with more technical depth. The response time for Veeam's technical support could also be improved."
"The web interface could be more visual."
"My biggest issue with Veeam at the moment is how the backup reports are displayed. We use the SolarWinds integration to generate consolidated reports for monitoring purposes, but we aren't getting all the available data shown to us in the way that we want."
"The solution could improve by having more user-friendly dashboards."
"They can improve the features and Veeam Enterprise Manager. The interface and features are kind of limited. It would be good if they can provide more features and a better interface. For example, if I want to provide certain users with the privilege to back up and restore and do day-to-day tasks, I cannot do it in the current version. It is like you either give everything to everyone or no user can have access to anything. In version 9, a lot of features were missing, and it wasn't clear. Version 10 is easier from the communication perspective, and the disk backup option is very clear."
"I would like to see a storage application in the next version of the product."
