We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use.
Here are some excerpts of what they said:
Pros
"I have found the most valuable feature is stability.""I'm a power user, so reliability is crucial. The HPE equipment hasn't failed on me, unlike some other brands like Huawei, which I find more sensitive.""The solution is easy to set up and easy to use, unlike, for example, Cisco, which is more complex.""he stability is very good on this solution. There have been no bugs, glitches or crashes.""HPE is very reliable because it has a lifetime warranty, so the switches didn't give us any problems.""The solution is highly stable.""You can scale the product as needed.""We use HPE Ethernet Switches to provide solutions for the hotel, their guests, and IPTV."

Cons
"We haven't had any issues with this switch in the past 10 years. That's the reason we're still keeping them alive.""Installation could be made more secure.""Configuration can be complex.""The VLAN tagging could be improved,""The pricing is expensive.""This solution needs to support software-defined networking.""There is some improvement needed for the power supply of the solution.""The solution could improve by having more integration options."

More HPE Ethernet Switches Cons →

"The difficulty of the installation of Juniper Ethernet Switches depends on the environment it is being implemented in. It is fairly straightforward in terms of being able to source the technical information as we need it. However, this process could improve.""The technical support from Juniper Ethernet Switches could be better.""Juniper EX Series could improve the process and ease of updating the software. It is a difficult process.""Juniper Ethernet Switches' operating systems get corrupted when the power fails. They have to improve this issue. I may have to use a newer version.""Support could be improved.""The initial setup for Juniper switches is complex. Juniper has a new program that solves that problem a little bit, but it is expensive, so I don't use it. It is Juniper Mesh, Juniper Wire, or something like that where you plug in a switch, and it goes out to their cloud, finds a config, and brings it down. So, you can do everything cloud-based, but there is a fee for that. It is expensive, so I've never used it. If we were starting, we would try to do something like that. It is more for a large enterprise for managing hundreds of switches versus what we're doing. They should make its price more cost-effective or include it for new or smaller companies.""I have found the scalability could be improved in the version I was using.""The updates are constantly breaking."
