We performed a comparison between Qualys VMDR and Skyhigh Security based on real PeerSpot user reviews.
Find out what your peers are saying about Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7 and others in Risk-Based Vulnerability Management."The most valuable features of Qualys VM are its ability to do proper vulnerability assessment. It has a lot of updates for all the vulnerability databases from all over the globe. It's an amazing solution when it comes to the versatility of the features it has. Additionally, the reports are very good. It generates very detailed reports about the vulnerabilities inside the environment"
"Intuitive and easy to use."
"Monitors workstations and servers for vulnerabilities and creates reports."
"It gives a very good overview of the inventory assessment process, and it can be accessed across our company because it's a global tool."
"The solution shows us classic categories, including high, medium, and low risks. It also shows critical items, and that gives us the advantage of prioritizing things."
"I am impressed with the VMDR feature."
"It's a good product. After the scan our internet works well. It scans our security posture."
"The solution is easy to use."
"The initial setup is fairly straightforward and easy to perform."
"DLP policies and anomalies."
"Skyhigh has given us categorization and rating of websites separate from what the web proxy places on the logs."
"Tokenization."
"What's most valuable in Skyhigh Security is its level of security. Another valuable feature of the solution is threat analysis."
"The other products that I have evaluated do not have the scalability options that McAfee has."
"Data loss prevention and user behavior analysis are two valuable features."
"In terms of their compatibility with major cloud providers, in terms of their abilities, capabilities, and features, they exceed everyone's capabilities in the CASB market."
"Qualys should improve their customer experience. They need to improve the tech support experience and the turnaround time."
"It's quite complex on the way it is set up, so it takes a fair bit of time in order to get your head around it in order to deploy it. Once you've deployed it, then you're never confident on the versions of the browsers and the SSL certificates, etc. You have to always go back into Qualys and check."
"They're still evolving their platform in terms of reporting capabilities."
"The IoT scan is not great."
"We face issues while scanning multiple assets."
"Improve the user interface."
"Improve the API speed."
"The disadvantage of working with Qualys is that the graphical interface is quite outdated."
"An area for improvement in Skyhigh Security is its UI. It needs to be enhanced and made more user-friendly. Right now, the UI of Skyhigh Security is sometimes confusing. For example, my company is deploying Skyhigh Security for a client and integrating it on the cloud, from an on-premises deployment to a hybrid deployment. Though the experience isn't bad, there needs to be more enhancements. Another room for improvement in Skyhigh Security is the limited training resources, especially when you compare it with Cisco, which has many study materials in the market, even free training resources. You'll get limited resources if you search for Skyhigh Security tutorials on Google and YouTube. Because of high-security requirements and the training material for Skyhigh Security not being available, most engineers and architects avoid the product because there'd be a lack of knowledge in configuring and achieving the goals you'd want to reach via the use of Skyhigh Security. The NOC team deploying the product is having difficulty getting training resources for Skyhigh Security. You'll be charged an enormous amount if you search the market for training because of the limited resources available. Skyhigh Security needs to work on marketing and awareness as an improvement to the product."
"One thing that can be improved is their ability to integrate with other web proxies to discover unsanctioned IP apps."
"There isn't really any aspect that is lacking."
"MVISION Cloud is not well known and there should be more information about the solution. There could be integration to local applications."
"McAfee Web Gateway could improve the reporting. We have the reporting on a separate server and sometimes the database becomes full. These aspects could improve."
"SkyHigh has the ability to place users or groups on a ‘Watchlist’; which allows you to see certain views with these Watchlists users/groups in them. This is great when you are looking at live data but if I wanted to generate a report on "only" the watchlists."
"I think that the User Interface could be improved."
"The virtual solution requires improvement."
