Flexible, different license types available, and scalable
    Pros and Cons
    • "The solution is flexible in my experience."
    • "In future releases, there should be more support options for the latest processor."

What is our primary use case?

We use the solution as a software as a service host, for high-performance computing and general-purpose servers.

    What is most valuable?

The solution is flexible in my experience.

    What needs improvement?

In future releases, there should be more support options for the latest processor. The company might already be doing this but this is what I would like to see.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

I have found the solution to be stable.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

The scalability is good. Over 5,000 users are using the product.

How are customer service and technical support?

The support is reasonably good, Dell is known for good support.

    How was the initial setup?

Installation is easy, it does not take a lot of time. It comes preconfigured and assembled, all you need to do is push the new one into the existing rack and power it on. There is little you have to do.

    What about the implementation team?

Not a lot of people are required for the deployment because it is all plug and play.
You configure your operating system and start using your application.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

There are different types of licensing available, that works well for customers. The product is not very much to purchase.

What other advice do I have?

The solution has almost everything. There is nothing currently that stands out that needs improvements at this time. The standard improvements will be made, easing of maintenance, increase the usability etc.

I rate Dell EMC PowerEdge XE Servers an eight out of ten.

Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

    On-premises
