Oracle Database Cloud Service is a nice and strong database engine, so my company can face the challenge of developing programs over the platform. Its performance is adequate for the needs of my company and my team.

Oracle Database Cloud Service is a good engine and at the moment, there isn't any new feature I can think of that I'd like added to the service. The only problem I see in Oracle Database Cloud Service is it's more commercial, so it has a relation to how it deals with customers. I don't feel secure in a deal with Oracle because that team changes the conditions each year, and there's no representative from the team that talks to my company about new needs. Oracle needs to improve its relationship with customers and partners in general.

Oracle Database Cloud Service is a stable service. My company is running a critical mission software on it, and the performance and stability of the platform was very, very good.

Oracle Database Cloud Service is a scalable service. If you need more processors or more memory, you can scale it easily and quickly.

We didn't use a different solution before using Oracle Database Cloud Service. We have a long history with Oracle products, but we came from an on-premise database and we switched it to Oracle Database Cloud Service because we don't want a new infrastructure and we need to scale the processor or the memory easily, so we don't want to deal with the infrastructure and the hardware and install those, and this is the main reason we went with Oracle Database Cloud Service.

The deployment of Oracle Database Cloud Service was very easy. It only took less than a month to install and start using the service.

Pricing for Oracle Database Cloud Service could be more competitive. Lately, pricing for it has been increasing, so my company may have to review different options to find a solution with competitive pricing.

From what I know, there's no additional cost apart from the standard licensing fees for Oracle Database Cloud Service.

My company works with Oracle Database. My team uses Linux as the operating system and Microsoft 365 for email, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Oracle Database is deployed on-premises. My company also uses Oracle Database Cloud Service.

In terms of maintaining Oracle Database Cloud Service, my company has one FTE. In terms of usage, the service has more than one hundred users within the company.

My rating for Oracle Database Cloud Service is seven out of ten. The relationship with Oracle is complicated. The commercial relationship is complicated. If the relationship could be improved, then that would make my rating a ten.

Additionally, the multi-cloud capability with providers like AWS and Azure offers significant choice and flexibility.

The implementation process could be easier for customers. Although the general complexity makes it a seven out of ten, simplifying the process would greatly benefit users.

I have four to five years of experience with Oracle Database Cloud Service, and twenty-five years with Oracle Database itself.

I would rate the stability of the solution as an eight out of ten, indicating a high level of reliability and performance.

I find the scalability of the solution to be highly rated at an eight out of ten, emphasizing its strength in accommodating growing or varying workloads.

I would rate the quality of technical support from Oracle as a five out of ten. Some of my colleagues have found the duration of service to be too long and lacking in technical detail.
