Quick deployment and used for our workstation’s daily operations
Pros and Cons
  • "We use Windows 11 for our workstation’s daily operations."
  • "Major updates cause problems in small business environments because the end customers have to upgrade their workstations."

What is most valuable?

We use Windows 11 for our workstation’s daily operations.

What needs improvement?

What we don't like about the Windows platform is that every major update increases the requirements. Major updates cause problems in small business environments because the end customers have to upgrade their workstations. Sometimes, updates have problems, and we treat them with higher attention for workstations and servers.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Windows 11 for a couple of years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?

Windows 11 is a stable solution if you don't need to implement specific tasks. However, we have faced problems in some cases and had to roll back to the previous platform.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Less than ten users are using the tool in our organization.

How was the initial setup?

The solution's initial setup is quite smart, and deploying Windows 11 on a workstation doesn't take much time.

What about the implementation team?

We have different scenarios ranging from manual deployment to imaging deployment using specific products.

What other advice do I have?

Our practice is generally to apply additional security products to Windows 11. Since I don't rely solely on the solution's security features, I add an additional layer of security using other products.

If the intention is to deploy Windows 11, I recommend always starting with high requirements or resources on the workstation. Do not try to use minimal resources because Windows 11 requires high resources.

Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
