Answered a question: How easy is it to migrate process flow charts (modeled using tools like Visio) into Bizagi?
I have been using Bizagi with a major project for a state government agency for about four years now. It is pretty straightforward to load in files that are BPMN 2.0 compliant. The option to load Visio is available in Studio and Modeler. If you have a lot of models, it may…

Answered a question: Why would you choose purchasing Camunda Platform over Bizagi?
I can't give you a good reason to skip over Bizagi. I have been using Bizagi for over 4 years and have gone from total low-code skeptic to low-code evangelist and a strong supporter of Bizagi. It's available for no cost to learn, develop, and test/pilot process automation…

Answered a question: What Business Process Management (BPM) workflow solution would you recommend for others?
Hi James
It really depends on what you are planning to use the BPM output for. Are you seeking a tool to simply model your processes and then modify them to improve manual work, or are you looking for a tool that will also feed into intelligent process automation? Are you…

Actually, Bizagi has collaboration built-in. See https://help.bizagi.com/proces... for details on the Modeler collaboration
You say there are issues with exporting? Which version of Bizagi are you using? We have no issue exporting Bizagi to PDF or Word, and with BPMN 2.0…

Replied to Art Hebbeler, PMP BPM Tools: What is the best alternative to Signavio?
@Tuslim Mohaungoo Well, for my money, Bizagi is the tool of choice. Add in an RPA tool like Automation Anywhere or UIPath or Blue Prism and you have a very strong suite at a great value.

Answered a question: BPM Tools: What is the best alternative to Signavio?
Hi Tuslim
As a recovering low-code skeptic, I have looked at a lot of the options out there. You can find details, comparisons, reviews, and more here on IT Central.
Personally, for my work internally and with clients, I am a huge fan of Bizagi. The cost to model,…

Answered a question: BPM Tools: What is the best alternative to Signavio?
It really depends on what your ultimate goal is. Are you looking for a tool for doing only modeling or one that you can leverage into a starting point for intelligent process automation? What do you dislike about Signavio? What do you like?
I'm happy to help, but the more…

Answered a question: What are some of the reasons business process management (BPM) efforts fail?
BPM seems to fail most often when it is being done because someone in leadership has read a book (or more likely,an article) and thinks it is the silver bullet to making more money for the business, rather than an investment in long term improvement of the organization. BPM…

Answered a question: What is the difference between ERP and BPMS Tools? How do I choose between the two?
This is great question, and one that is rarely asked and even more rarely understood. ERP and BPM are two very different things, although there are some common elements.Enterprise resource planning (ERP) is a type of software that provides users access to a suite of…

Replied to Art Hebbeler, PMP Looking for a BPMN tool that is easy to use and reasonably priced
@Rony_Sklar Yes. There are several options out there (and almost all can be investigated and compared here on IT Central Station, in fact :)). If one only wants to do the diagrams, and not interested in using the diagram output as input to one of the other tools (Bizagi…

Answered a question: Looking for a BPMN tool that is easy to use and reasonably priced
This is a common question. If you are seeking a tool which is BPMN 2.0-compliant and can easily move you from model to developed process application, I certainly would recommend Bizagi Modeler (www.Bizagi.com). It is free, and the development tool, Bizagi Studio, is also…

Answered a question: What are some examples of processes that can be improved using BPM software?
Whether or not BPM software is used, there are basically no processes that can't benefit from improvement. That said, begin by looking at processes where folks frequently say "But we have always done it that way." That has been a key sign of a process ripe from innovation…

Answered a question: What is BPMN and how is it used?
BPMN, Business Process Modeling Notation, is used to describe business processes in a common format and style. Many BPMN tools (Appian, Bizagi, Visio, etc.) have the ability to create models in the BPMN 2.0 standard, which makes them (at least in theory) transparently…

Answered a question: What is your experience regarding pricing and costs for Bizagi?
A mentioned by Neil below, Bizagi has changed its on-prem licensing model from user-based to process-based, as is the case with its cloud solution. There are tiers based on the number of Bizagi Processing Units (BPU) used per month. The current estimation tool (an Excel…

Answered a question: What do you like most about Bizagi?
A solid user interface, a good number of built-in capabilities to interface with external systems, process-based design allows for integrating business process improvement with automation, good tools for citizen-developers to be involved in the development process. Best of…

Answered a question: Which is the best Workflow Automation Platform with microservices?
Working with my client (a state agency), we have opted for a low-code solution using Bizagi to develop our new system. We are replacing a collection of applications developed initially in 1987, with additions made Lego(TM)-like over the years. We have been able to not only…

Answered a question: What are the most important features to look for in a BPM solution?
Look at what the toolset has to offer. Some have great flexibility to talk to external systems, some are quick to learn, others have very cost-effective deployment models. Be wary of anyone trying to push "no-code" solutions, because these tools are certainly not NO CODE…

Answered a question: Bizagi vs Bonita, how do I choose?
Folks are saying Bizagi is .NET only. They offer a Java-based version as well, but personally, I avoid Java like the plague.

Answered a question: Bizagi vs Bonita, how do I choose?
Bizagi has an outstanding model as far as cost and licensing. Design, build, test for no cost. License when you are ready to deploy and only pay for what you actually use. This alone is saving my organization a ton of cash, and was a huge factor in making the decision to…

Answered a question: Which is better, Bonita or Camunda BPM?
From my experience, neither. We have evaluated several options, and have chosen Bizagi. Yes, it is just making a dent into the US marketplace, but the TCO is favorable, and the speed at which we can model, develop, and deploy, as well as change, is remarkable.
