Right now, I'd go with further data consolidation and automation...  I think also further extending XDR to take data from all sources and then take actions based on that data, moving SIEM and SOAR into XDR.

Answered a question: How does EternalBlue work?
EternalBlue exploits a vulnerability in outdated versions of Microsoft Server Message Block So the only known mechanism to protect against EternalBlue is to download the latest Windows software update and install the patch. Microsofts Support Forum has a full step-by-step…

Clearly the best features should be around detection and remediation but beyond that, key is how the information is displayed, depth of the forensic information, retention etc.

Threat hunting typically comes before a compromise assessment. Threat Hunting is looking for IOC’s or TTP’s being used within an environment to identify a compromise or potential compromise. Once identified you can then move to assessing the compromise.

About me

I am a fun loving channel manager who has a huge love for the Infosec community. I am incredibly proud of the channel I have created at Custodian360 and I personally feel that I am a good manager to all my partners and pride myself in going above and beyond in assisting them in all areas of their sales cycles. I think that there is a huge need for MSSP's like Custodian360 right now to enable OT companies and MSP's alike to transition safely and securely into Managed Security Services and that is just what we are doing, and unlike other Vendors we are still making sure we are keeping the personable element and ensuring that each partners values are upheld.
I am also a volunteer for the Uk Charity The Cyber Helpline as their marketing manager, this is such a rewarding role and something that I am incredibly proud of, we genuinely make a difference to individuals who have fallen victim to many different types of cyber crime. If you would like to learn more about how you can get involved then please get in touch.
Last year I co founded Respect In Security with some other individuals from the Infosec community, this is an initiative that is aiming to eliminate both online and in person harassment and bullying within our industry and has been a huge success so far, and has big plans for 2022.
Cyber House Party is something I am incredibly proud to be part of and is the best team, there is so much I could say about this project but I will let you see for your selves here what we have been up to since the beginning of UK lockdown in 2020 https://www.youtube.com/c/CyberHouseParty
