Mr. Chan has more than 30 years’ experience in the Information Technology and Telecom industry responsible for sales, marketing, regulatory, business development, corporate management, projects planning, implementation and operation. Mr. Chan is currently the Sales & Business Development Manager of UDS Data Systems Limited, a leading IT solution provider that specialized in IT Security Technologies, Network/Application Performance Monitoring Solutions, IT Audit and Security Assessments Services. Norman help the company expand the Mobility Security Portfolio from Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) to Mobile Performance/Connectivity Management (MPM), Mobile Apps Reputation & Scanning (MARS), Secure Mobile Erasing, Secure Mobile Backup & Mobile Secure Smartcard Authentication Solutions etc.
In the early 90s, Mr. Chan already found his IT firm who was a forerunner and pioneer in distributing & reselling Enterprise & Consumer base Internet Software . In 1998, Mr. Chan was appointed as the Managing Director of iBasis Hong Kong, a leading Voice over IP (VoIP) carrier from US. Mr. Chan helped iBasis expanding its business in Hong Kong & Asia that lead to the public listed of iBasis at NASDAQ in year 2000. After iBasis, Mr. Chan has involved in commencing, implementing and operation for IT & Telecommunications companies and projects
In addition, from the late 90s, Mr. Chan was the Committee Member in the Hong Kong External Telecommunications Society (HKETS), Hong Kong Wireless Technology Industry Association (HKWTIA), & was appointed in several Office of the Communications Authority’s (OFCA) Advisory Committees. Mr. Chan is still an active known figure & veteran in the ICT industry.
