Answered a question: When evaluating backup and recovery software, what aspect do you think is the most important to look for?
It s really "Recovery" software, not "Backup" software. So it is the recovery features that are paramount
Recovery considerations:
o What type of data do you need to easily recover:
- Single files from Vmware images
- Entire Vmware systems
- Needed OS…

About me
I am currently a Lead systems Engineer serving Tucson Medical Center in Tucson Arizona. I lead a team of 4 engineers that focus on : AIX, Oracle, Intersystems Cache, PeopleSoft, SAN Storage, Epic EMR and Interfaces (Cloverleaf). In all cases except Cloverleaf I did the job that is being done by my team and have mentored them into becoming the best in their field. I am an engineer, a leader, innovator and mentor.
