Find out in this report how the two Endpoint Protection Platform (EPP) solutions compare in terms of features, pricing, service and support, easy of deployment, and ROI."The stability is very good."
"Fortinet FortiEDR made our clients feel secure and more at ease, knowing that they had an EDR solution that would close the gap in their security posture."
"Fortinet FortiEDR's scalability is quite good, and you can add licenses to the solution."
"I get alerts when scripts are detected in the environment."
"Additionally, when it comes to EDR, there are more tools available to assist with client work."
"The main thing is that I feel safe. Because the processes that have been used to get a handle on the attackers are much better than other competitors"
"The product detects and blocks threats and is more proactive than firewalls."
"NGAV and EDR features are outstanding."
"It is integrated with a cloud platform that takes advantage of many emulation features in real-time filtering of malicious attacks."
"I have found the Zero phishing and IPS features the most useful in Check Point Harmony Endpoint. Additionally, threat emulation sandboxing is effective."
"It monitors data flow across the networking system to enhance comprehensive workflow infrastructure."
"The solution has good threat intelligence features."
"We were under an attack in our environment, and the Check Point response was good because we didn't lose anything."
"Check Point Endpoint Security helps us ensure device control and security. It helps us make sure users can access only the network resources they should be accessing and keep malware to a minimum."
"Check Point Endpoint Security really helped the business stop various malware attacks throughout the time we used it, including a ransomware attack, which was stopped in minutes."
"The most important characteristic of our requirements was the implementation of disk encryption."
"SonicWall Capture Client's scalability is nice."
"The initial setup is straightforward."
"The solution serves as a very stable platform."
"The most valuable features of SonicWall Capture Client are CSC (Capture Security Center), RTDMI (Real-Time Deep Memory Inspection), and the deep memory inspection feature."
"Overall, what I love the most about SonicWall Capture Client is its management console. SonicWall Capture Client also has the intelligence to tell you which computer is online, what OS it uses, etc. I also found the rollback feature and SentinelOne integration valuable in SonicWall Capture Client. Rollback is a powerful feature of the solution because it's similar to locking your endpoint during an attack, so you won't have to pay the hackers, particularly during ransomware attacks. That feature in SonicWall Capture Client allows you to get back your endpoint or make your endpoint right again after an attack. I also like that it isn't complex to remove the engine error from the endpoint because you only have to provide the security key from SonicWall Capture Client, so the process is simple. It's not complex."
"SonicWall Capture Client has a serial number to connect to your firewall."
"The solution is not stable."
"The dashboard isn't easy to access and manage."
"Detections could be improved."
"The support needs improvement."
"Everything with Fortinet having to do with their cloud services. They need to invest more in their internal infrastructure that they are running in the cloud. One of the things I find with their cloud environment compared to others' is that they go cheap on the equipment. So it causes some performance degradation."
"I would like the solution to extend beyond endpoint protection and include other attack surfaces such as other network components."
"It takes about two business days for initial support, which is too slow in urgent situations."
"The solution is not user-friendly."
"It needs to include built-in deployment. This will make the job easier rather than having to go and dig up an Active Directory deployment along with policy objects."
"Sometimes the portal loads slowly which should be improved."
"Check Point offers solutions with only a few features for our company's customers' sites."
"One area of this product that has room for improvement is the disc encryption."
"Technical support can be a bit slow at times."
"There needs to be compatibility with the most recent versions of the various operating systems."
"Configuration with some applications did not take place effectively due to setup complications."
"Legacy VPNs and digital footprints should be minimized."
"They should improve their user interface."
"SonicWall Capture Client could be made a little lighter than it currently is in terms of memory consumption."
"An area for improvement in SonicWall Capture Client is TenantCloud support. Suppose you want to implement SonicWall Capture Client. You'll have to register it on MySonicWall. Then once your SonicWall Capture Client license expires and you don't want to renew it, you can't delete it from your MySonicWall account, so that's an area for improvement."
"It takes technical support too long to resolve an issue."
"The biggest issue with SonicWall Capture Client is network latency."
"The vulnerability reports need to be better. Windows Defender detected some issues that SonicWall Capture Client couldn't."
