Flawless platform for training and interaction with easy format
What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
A Cloud Guru has a very easy format and is very informative. The labs are excellent.
What needs improvement?
The only hard part sometimes is for people to log in. You must know how to log in to the actual environment, but that's pretty easy. Once you figure that out, it's pretty simple. You need some technical knowledge, but minimal.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using A Cloud Guru for four years.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?
It has never let me down, even in low bandwidth, it works well.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I never had to scale the product, so I don’t know how it will work.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have used the Pluralsight platform, which is less intuitive than A Cloud Guru. Overall, it is a better platform, flawless for training and interaction.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The first time I signed up, I paid the full price, then it was Black Friday or Cyber Monday, I got 50% discount. I'm locked in half price forever. It costs 250$ per year.
What other advice do I have?
I mentor people in Canada who are coming here to do cybersecurity. I recommend signing up for the course to everyone. It allows you to play in a real environment. If you log into the real AWS and you play, you're going to pay because there are certain things to pay for. You can spend all day playing and not pay a penny.
I make sure to take the introductory courses before you try the advanced courses. If you try and go too far in the advanced courses, you'll get lost, and the labs will get complicated for you. It's best to take A Cloud. It tells you it's really good. It tells you steps one, step two, and step three. If you do step one first, the next lab makes more sense than just trying to do something you can't do.
Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

How was the initial setup?

When the organization switched to using Google for authentication, there was a transition period where I had trouble logging in and viewing my progress. The IT staff at my organization eventually resolved these issues. I don't blame A Cloud Guru for these problems, as they seemed more related to my company's setup.
