I think the biggest challenge and drawback of virtual training is the poor Internet connection. This goes both ways - if a trainer has a bad connection or if a trainee has a bad connection, the learning process is basically ruined. This has happened to my company, and I can tell you, no matter what tools or platforms you use, if one of the participants has poor Internet access, your whole training session is ruined. If you can assure somehow that all employees and the trainer have stable Internet, then this way of training is amazing. This is the only drawback for me.
