We use this product for our workflows. We launch an ECS cluster on-demand to run a job and shut down the cluster after the job is completed.

Stable and scalable with a valuable containerization feature
Pros and Cons
- "The containerization is a valuable feature for us."
- "It's a complex tool and should be simplified."
What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
The containerization is a valuable feature for us. You pay only for your use. For example, a job takes one hour, you only pay for one hour of the container. It's really scalable for the cost.
What needs improvement?
This is a really good tool, but it's complex because you need to understand how it works to get the best of this tool. It would help if things were simplified so it could be more user friendly.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've been using this solution for six months. We are Amazon customers.

848,396 professionals have used our research since 2012.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
We haven't had any problems with stability.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
The solution is definitely scalable.
How are customer service and support?
The technical support is very expensive and we don't have an agreement for that. We just use them when necessary.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is somewhat complicated, but that may have been more about the skills we had internally. We needed to improve our skill set before using this tool, and that's why we took some time to implement it. Deployment was carried out internally and I'm the only person in the company using this solution.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
There's no license fee, it's pay as you go and the fee is reasonable.
What other advice do I have?
I would recommend this solution for anyone thinking to implement it.
I rate this product an eight out of 10.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Public Cloud

Users benefit from inherent scalability and ease of infrastructure management in the cloud environment
Pros and Cons
- "Overall, I would rate the solution highly over time as there is no reason not to, giving it a rating of 10 out of 10."
- "The services are costly, which is one potential drawback. Additionally, when it comes to new-age services around AI, particularly in the areas of LLMs and genomics, these services are not fully available in our region's availability domain. These are the areas where improvement is required."
What is our primary use case?
Our organization focuses on the cloud business, particularly on cloud infrastructure, platform, or software services. Although our primary focus is not on Amazon Elastic Container Service directly, as our organization is not the end user, we are resellers. We take Amazon Elastic Container Service and other AWS products to our customers.
What is most valuable?
The most valuable feature of Amazon Elastic Container Service is its minimal manageability. We do not need to worry about the underlying infrastructure. It inherently offers scalability by default, without our IT teams needing to take the extra load to make the services available for our end users. We only need to pay for what we use, offered by scalability and elasticity, which is expected from the service provider.
What needs improvement?
The services are costly, which is one potential drawback. Additionally, when it comes to new-age services around AI, particularly in the areas of LLMs and genomics, these services are not fully available in our region's availability domain. These are the areas where improvement is required.
For how long have I used the solution?
We have been providing AWS cloud services, including Amazon Elastic Container Service, to our customers for about six months.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Amazon Elastic Container Service is mostly very stable. If our customers require specific SLAs, we integrate other solutions to meet those requirements, ensuring there are no challenges.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Amazon Elastic Container Service is quite scalable. Scalability becomes an inherent capability in the cloud context, and this service does well in that regard.
How are customer service and support?
We do not rely heavily on technical support from AWS as we have our own teams managing the infrastructure. However, our overall relationship with AWS is running smoothly.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
What about the implementation team?
Our managed services team handles the complete installation for our end customers. The installation process involves setting up everything on day zero for our customers.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Our customers often do a trade-off between requiring services at particular SLA levels and being willing to pay a premium price to us as partners. While the services can be costly, the value for money depends on these trade-offs.
What other advice do I have?
Overall, I would rate the solution highly over time as there is no reason not to, giving it a rating of 10 out of 10.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Hybrid Cloud
If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
