None.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
None.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
None.
How are customer service and support?
Customer Service:
I did not use the customer service.
Technical Support:Not applicable.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Infusionsoft. We were trying out SugarCRM based on Central Station rankings.
How was the initial setup?
It was straightforward to set up.
What about the implementation team?
In-house setup.
What was our ROI?
Low. The UX was such that it limited the use of it.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
It is a strong basic CRM, however the user interface makes it difficult to use over time.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Infusionsoft and Salesforce.
What other advice do I have?
Good, basic out-of-the-box solution, however, in my estimation not a long term play as the design flow and user interface make it a true chore to enter data. Feature rich, but not designed with the end in mind or for user fluency. Too many clicks required for navigating.

eCommerce Expert at a computer software company with 501-1,000 employees
Sugar gives users a complete view of their customers through core sales, marketing and customer support features.
Valuable Features:
Pros.
•Affordability. This solution can be a great fit for budget conscience organizations capable of investing additional time in their CRM product.
•Open source customization. A commercial open source solution capable of on-demand individual control (this may be a major positive or a complete turn off depending upon your tolerance for open source business applications solutions).
•Good program. Available source code, good documentation, training programs, and a relatively active community, provide the hallmarks for a successful open source effort.
Room for Improvement:
Cons:
• Open source. While open source acceptance has grown, it is far from commonly accepted among business application champions. Perhaps more important, one of the core tenants of the SaaS value proposition, is to reduce or eliminate the in-house IT resources needed to support business systems - not hire additional programmers in order to go into the software customization business.
•Small business (only) solution.
•Poor reporting. Pipelines, forecasts, and reporting in general, are not that good in the free version.
•Quite limited system administration tools - such as account merges, mass modifications, flexible security models.
Other Advice:
The Sugar platform is highly extensible. The application includes a built-in Module Builder tool to assist developers and users in creating and maintaining custom applications that extend the value of the core platform.
