The name Lexmark comes from a combination between "lexicon" and "Mark".

Though its revenue comes from a customer relationship management product, Salesforce also tries capitalizing on commercial applications of social networking through acquisition. As of 2015, it is one of the most highly valued American cloud computing companies with a market capitalization of $50 billion, It is listed on the New York Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the S&P 500 index.
