Excellent tool for monitoring and managing web usage
Pros and Cons
  • "The most valuable feature is the ability to allow or block sites by category."
  • "An area for improvement would be the classification of websites - it can take a long time for new websites to be classified."

What is our primary use case?

My primary use of this solution is to help our customers filter their security and their users' usage. They can optimize internet traffic and block or allow sites.

How has it helped my organization?

This solution allows us to control web usage to ensure that our employees use the internet for business research only. It also monitors all employees' traffic, so it gives alerts for searches and can block any websites not allowed by company policies. This means the company can ensure our employees make the best use of their time and get the most value from the internet itself.

What is most valuable?

The most valuable feature is the ability to allow or block sites by category.

What needs improvement?

An area for improvement would be the classification of websites - it can take a long time for new websites to be classified.

Regarding the transparent SSL inspection, did you inform your users that their private SSL connections can be potentially disclosed? I assume that you had to import your own CA certificate into all Web browsers in your organization. Isn't it? In general do you have any information regarding the SSL inspection in Europe and US jurisdictions?
