How has it helped my organization?
Most of our jobs require partial storage (or read/write). While it is temporary storage, it is doing a fantastic job.
What is most valuable?
Its SSD to storage is its most valuable feature.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
It is very scalable. I have gone from five blades to seven blades. While it did require some rebooting, it scales well.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We wanted to have a multi-vendor strategy. We already had two storage vendors and we wanted to more competition. This was where Pure Storage came in. We were looking for a SSD data storage or all-flash base, so that is where this solution fits in.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup was straightforward.
What about the implementation team?
We used an integrator for the deployment.
What other advice do I have?
We are using it for our scratch space, and it works well for our use case.

How has it helped my organization?
We are pretty sensitive to response times and have been running storages before PR. We used to not have a great response time but once we moved to this solution it has saved total production storage usage. It has better overall performance.
There is predictive analysis that PR provides us and the customer. It's useful for as to translate what is being expected. We can calculate and plan the capacity based on the predictive analysis.
What is most valuable?
Deduplication and response time are its most valuable features.
What needs improvement?
I would like to see more deduplication.

Has been pretty stable. We haven't encountered any issues.

I like the scalability options. We recently expanded the storage and it's not straightforward but their team helped make it happen.
