What do I think about the stability of the solution?
This solution is stable.
How was the initial setup?
I bought my laptop with Windows 10 already installed.
What about the implementation team?
I implemented through a vendor team, but it was already installed on my laptop.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
This solution came with my laptop, so I don't know what the licensing prices are.
What other advice do I have?
I rate this solution a ten out of ten. I haven't worked on any operating system other than this, so it's all I know, but I have no complaints. In my organization, there are 70 computers using Windows 10. I would recommend this solution.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?

Mostly stable and setup isn't complicated
Pros and Cons
- "Windows setup isn't very complicated. Mostly, we have someone proficient in Windows to do our installations."
- "At the beginning of the year, there was a Windows patch update that created a lot of problems for our customers. They kept on getting the blue screen."
For how long have I used the solution?
This is a new laptop, so I've been using it for less than a year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I haven't had any issues with my system. But at the beginning of the year, there was a Windows patch update that created a lot of problems for our customers. They kept on getting the blue screen. I believe it was a patch update in February at the beginning of the year, if I'm not mistaken. So, we were getting a lot of calls. Yeah, that was the only issue I found. But otherwise, Windows was totally fine because we are all familiar with it.
How are customer service and support?
So far, Microsoft support has been okay. But then again, we have in-house support. So, before it goes to the Microsoft team, most issues are handled by our team. We have a structured support team, so I haven't had any problems so far.
How was the initial setup?
Windows setup isn't very complicated. Mostly, we have someone proficient in Windows to do our installations. It's not something normal users deal with. So if you ask an average user, they might say it's a bit complex, but otherwise, no.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
We primarily use yearly subscriptions because organizations prefer bundled packages that you pay for annually. We also recommend that. Who wants to pay every month?
What other advice do I have?
I rate Windows 10 eight out of 10.

Windows 10 is a stable solution, but it could be better.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
We have 20 users in our firm that use this solution.
How are customer service and technical support?
I have not contacted Microsoft technical support.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have also used Apple.
How was the initial setup?
I was not involved with the installation.
We have a team of two in our IT department to deploy and maintain this solution.

An intuitive operating system that's stable and easy to use
Pros and Cons
- "I like that it's a very easy solution to use. It's also very easy to integrate it for our customers. It's a very intuitive operating system, and if they take their time to go through it quickly, they can use it without any support."
- "It would be better if they brought back the easy way to create multiple sessions on Windows 10. It's very complicated for our customers, and most of the time they need to call us to do it because they know that we are in an office environment and most of the time the competence is not for only one person. To optimize the resources, they need to have several sessions on the same desktop or the same workstation. This makes it easier to manage and maintain. My recommendation is to bring back the easy way and have several sessions on the same operating system. The price could be better as well."
What is our primary use case?
Whenever we sell equipment with a personal computer, our customers request Windows 10, and we install it.
What is most valuable?
I like that it's a very easy solution to use. It's also very easy to integrate it for our customers. It's a very intuitive operating system, and if they take their time to go through it quickly, they can use it without any support.
What needs improvement?
It would be better if they brought back the easy way to create multiple sessions on Windows 10.
The price could be better as well.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Windows 10 for five years or since it was available in the marketplace.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I personally think that it's a very stable operating system. We used to have several issues with other operating systems, but we don't have any issues with Windows 10. This is because the updates are made automatically, and we also have several ways to back up our work. Most of the time, I forget that there is any trouble on a laptop or the desktop.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
I think it's scalable. If you get legal licenses, you can move up to the new version without any problem. This is what we used to do.
How are customer service and technical support?
I contacted technical support once , and it was a very good experience.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup is simple for me because I'm an IT integrator. However, I know that it's complicated for my customers just to install it. Most of the time, they don't want to learn how to do it. They always tell us to do it for them and to give it in ready-to-use mode.
What about the implementation team?
I'm an integrator and I install and deploy this solution.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
It's not cheap, and it's one of the inconveniences. Most of the time, we use group licensing, permitting us to install servers for three months. When we want to have personal licenses, it costs too much here in Senegal.
What other advice do I have?
I will recommend this solution because it's intuitive. Also, we have a Windows culture here, and people like to use it.
On a scale from one to ten, I would give Windows 10 an eight.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
There are yearly costs.
For my home computer it's a lifetime license, only purchased once.

When it comes to Windows 11 specifically, you really have to have a good PC. You need to have a very good graphic card. Unfortunately, many PCs lack a good graphic card and therefore can't support it.
I've had some issues with a configuration that's given me trouble.

I'm using both Windows 11 and 10 right now and I am very happy with the Microsoft products. They have been great.
I'd advise others not to hesitate if they are considering using it. It's a very strong solution. If you have a good PC or laptop, it will work well.
I'd rate the solution at a nine out of ten.
