SonicWall Mobile Connect Reviews

The tool helps with secure connectivity for remote workers. Introducing the new NetExtender with SSL connectivity has been particularly beneficial. It simplifies administrative tasks by allowing precise control over access by blocking certain IPs, applications, and protocols. 

The solution benefits IT managers in backend programming. The ease of configuring and securing it while ensuring security measures is crucial. The tool is easy in terms of user experience. It is straightforward. 

The tool helps us ensure we are not opening doors to security issues. Its lockdown features, notifications, and logging makes it very secure.

The product's adoption rate is very high due to its ease of use. 

We have a few clients that use it. Most clients will use the NetExtender more, however, other than that, they do use Mobile Connect.

Mainly it's used to take over their workstation at their office.

The ease of use is great. It's pretty easy for users to get on the tablet or whatever and select the bookmark they need and just take it over. 

Most of the clients try to stick with just doing a laptop. I know Mobile Connect is more for tablets and phones. However, whenever the few people that do use it don't have any complaints about how it works on various devices. We don't have to have constant fixes on them. It does seem to work pretty well.

The user interface is pretty good. 

The stability is good.

We've found the solution to be scalable. 

My customer's primary use case for this solution is for remote connectivity to their firewalls. 

The reason we primarily use Fortinet is because I don't see any value to SonicWall. SonicWall was interesting to us because they were part of the Dell portfolio but now that they are standalone, with very few integrations with other endpoint solutions, it doesn't have value for us. That's' why our customers lean towards Fortinet. Fortinet has better endpoint ability.  

This solution is generally used by our management and operational staff for any kind of access to auditing activities. We are partners with SonicWall. 

The solution offers a major feature by being dedicated to mobile devices only and offering multiple OS support which includes Apple, Mac, Android and Chrome support.
