Alteryx Scalability
I rate the solution's scalability four to five out of ten.
View full review »In terms of scalability, Alteryx is good, especially within our domain, where tax data is generally not excessive. It can handle a large number of transactions and data sets.
Although there are instances of large datasets, we have yet to encounter any issues with scalability. So, at least within our domain, scalability doesn't pose a concern.
Currently, there are 15 users who are continuously using Alteryx. We also have 3-4 developers, and I lead the tech team in our organization.

I'd rate it an eight out of ten in terms of scalability.
View full review »I don't think we've reached the limits of Alteryx yet. Our strategy is to push the envelope to see how far we can go, especially in terms of our advanced data analytics and using Alteryx to look for other types of anomalies or issues with our data.
We have around 20-plus active users doing transactional data analysis. We will likely increase the usage depending upon the use case and expansion of our global data sources.

The solution is scalable. To scale the solution you will have to add more hardware to the on-premise setup, such as CPUs and memory.
View full review »Alteryx is scalable. My teammates and everyone in my company have an enterprise account, so we are able to access it.
View full review »It is highly scalable for the vast majority of things you want to do. When it comes to extremely large data sets or very specific analytics that would be delivered at an extremely high scale, either really, really tremendous scale or tremendous volume may be problematic. However, those are only a small number of possible scenarios. As a result, it hasn't been a problem for us, but we've switched to another technology for those types of use cases.
The roles are extremely varied. We have over 100, and less than 200, but that will increase in the coming months.
We are currently at capacity in terms of licenses. So we're looking to go from the low triple digits to over 1000 in the next year, maybe a year and a half. I believe we will quadruple in the coming year.

I believe the solution to be scalable, although I cannot say for certain, owing to the price. It We are not talking about a corporate solution at the moment. While we wish to improve upon and escalate the solution, I believe it is too expensive for us to do so at the present time.
While I cannot speak about the future with certainty, we do have plans to increase the usage. We are satisfied with what we have at present. My area currently consists of four licenses and we would like to improve on this, to have more users. For the moment, we don't have definite plans to buy another license, certainly not in 2022, although, perhaps, in 2023. I sure hope so.

Scalability-wise, I rate the solution an eight out of ten. Currently, the tool also offers a cloud version. Usually, scalability is not needed in my environment. In my company, we only use desktops.
I think that, in my company, I work with the tool as part of a team. Additional departments also use the tool. My team uses Alteryx. A total of ten people use the tool.
The scalability is fine. That said, the pricing model is not the cheapest. You have to be careful who will be using it. The pricing is the only hindrance to scaling.
We have around 300 to 500 licenses. It's pretty mature in our organization.

From my experience and from my point of view, the solution is quite scalable. We did not use it for the production system yet, but from my experience of using it on a laptop more recently, it runs with a few hundred thousand rows and columns without a problem.
The other good side of the scalability is the number of connectors available for data sources. They have more than 200 connectors, which allows access to well more sources than anything I have needed.
I rate the solution's scalability a seven out of ten.

View full review »I have done a lot of work on Alteryx and deployed it on client servers, and Alteryx is a highly scalable solution in my opinion.
It is mostly used by the analytics team, which includes analyst associates and project leaders. The consulting team also uses it pretty often. We would like to increase its usage because it is a pretty good software to work with.

We faced a few issues with scalability in the past when it was a desktop application. However, after we started to use the Alteryx Analytics Cloud, this application has been really stable in terms of scalability. Initially, we started the trial with 30 people. Now we have around 200 to 250 people who currently use Alteryx Cloud. It scales quite well for us now.
View full review »We had some issues with deployability and scalability because we had to develop on our own machines and then push the workflow into the cloud, which caused issues with updates that caused functionality misalignments. Ideally, you'd be able to develop and run production applications in the same environment or platform, i.e. the cloud.

We've found the scalability to be quite good. We are connected to big databases, small databases, medium databases, any kind of database. For us, it's great.
In Latin America, there are about 30 to 40 people on the solution. In North America, probably a couple of hundred people are on the solution, and in Europe probably over 100. In Asia, there are probably around 50 more, and the India teams probably have a little more.

Since I only have one license to use the solution it is difficult to know about the potential scalability.
View full review »The solution is hard to scale in that it is pricey. You need to buy a server. You would need to have the correct sizing, and, if you don't, you would need to buy a bigger server, which is expensive. They don't have a way to grow the product progressively, in a progressive way.
View full review »There's room for improvement with the scalability aspect, because the size of data always increases and it is not an optimal solution for processing large sets of data. For a smaller data size it works really well. Our developers work with Alteryx and we have close to 10 users. We don't have plans to extend usage.
We can scale usage of the product as much as we want and we do that depending on the instructions that we have from the client. It is quite scalable in that regard.
We have more than 50 users who are using this solution within our company. They are a mix of data scientists, administration and business users as well.
Alteryx is used quite extensively in our organization and we are planning to increase the usage in the short term.
I did not encounter any scalability issues, at all. As long as the server is set up, it can share the workload by the load balancer. It depends on how complex the problems you want to solve are or how many people you want to access them simultaneously.
