We use Atos DirX Directory for cybersecurity with Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solutions.

How has it helped my organization?

Atos DirX Directory helps take care of attacks and manage responses. It also has artificial intelligence to mitigate any attack.

What is our primary use case?

It's the database as a meta-directory for identity and access management.

How has it helped my organization?

The solution does help organizations. 

As an example, typically, they use it as an internal employee directory where they can find the data of all the people that are working for the company. Also, they can provide it by a REST API towards applications, towards other directories, et cetera, et cetera. You can distribute the relevant data of user profiles within the whole IT landscape.

The product provides an excellent framework but could use some polish on the front end

What is most valuable?

The flexibility of the product. I have not found customer requirements that could not be implemented with DirX Identity.

How has it helped my organization?

The answer to this would be the same for any product, not DirX specific.

What is our primary use case?

We use Atos DirX Identity Manager to provision users to Active Directory and SAP Systems. We also use DirX Audit, which is the SQL-based Audit Component of the suite.

How has it helped my organization?

The role and attribute-based access control has been greatly improved.

Basic requirements are easily fulfilled by the product, but if you want to expand your governance to cloud-based systems, you will need a lot of time and testing or find the proper know-how. The Self-Service Portal is old school and it lacks easy accessibility for users. We hope that the newest version will be better.
