It helps us deliver affordable dark web monitoring and security risk assessment to SMB clients
Breach allows us to set up and deploy cybersecurity services for clients in minutes and focus on customizing the solution for our clients instead of leaving them with tools from multiple vendors that they must learn to configure and deploy on their own. This solution has improved our efficiency in delivering a host of cybersecurity support resources to our clients while maintaining a lean staff and robust offering. With a smaller support staff, we can interact with client security POCs to help them manage their program or manage it for them with input from client representatives. It helps us develop sustained relationships that open the door for additional services we can provide to our clients, such as XDR for endpoints.

Great training, good weekly boxes and offers helpful real-world scenarios
My only complaint is regarding the ranking system. I find it really hard to jump from one level to another. To accomplish this, you need to have a long streak of completing boxes because even if you hacked the weekly released box and you got the points, as soon as the box is retired (after some months), you lose all the current points, and the progress jumps back. While there has to be a balance of completed boxes and ranking level, Hack The Box should consider a ranking system that penalizes fewer users who cannot have long active streaks of doing boxes.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Breach's dark web monitoring and security risk assessments are helpful. With other partners, we must charge high prices that most small and medium-sized businesses cannot afford."
"I encourage everyone to use Hack the Box as it is one of the best platforms to upgrade yourself in the field of cybersecurity."
"The feature I like the most are weekly boxes. They provide an excellent training ground for hacking, and most of all, they provide the widest range of possible topics."

Cons

"The security risk assessment could be improved by adding additional compliance framework alignments beyond just basic cybersecurity or HIPAA. It would be nice to have an alignment with PCI, FTC Safeguards, and maybe CMMC, depending on how the client status questionnaire is answered. This an awesome feature that helps organizations perform security risk assessments that they couldn't afford them. These options will be critical fro MSPs with the FTC Safeguards regulation taking effect."
"As of now, the Hack the Box platform is the best learning solution, however, I encourage Hack the Box to conduct training courses."
"My only complaint is regarding the ranking system. I find it really hard to jump from one level to another."
