A native Microsoft solution the provides great ROI and continuously improves its offering
We have Microsoft bias. We generally don't have any significant negative feedback or improvement points around Defender, EDR and CMDR platforms. It does a good job across the board. The price point is something they can improve slightly for those who don't have an M 365 E5. I believe it's a $2.80 cents add-on. In Canadian, that's expensive. If they can drop it to a dollar, for those who don't have M 365 E5, they're going to open up market share and increase affordability for an entire market segment in the medium business category. Other than that, we have no major negative feedback.
AS
Efficiently identify and address online threats with timely alerts and thorough takedown capabilities
The most valuable features are its threat intel platform, which provides the latest trends and indicators of compromise (IOCs) that I can act on. I quickly obtain data, such as leaked email IDs and passwords, from the ZeroFOX ( /products/zerofox-reviews ) portal or the threat intel portal when required. The platform's GUI-based features stand out and provide thorough takedown capabilities for domains, social media accounts, and phishing numbers.

"Microsoft's integration into the security stack works quite well."
"The user interface is pretty user-friendly."
"The product's initial setup phase was straightforward."
"I value how Threat Intelligence integrates with the different platforms in Microsoft."
"You can use it to monitor third parties and ensure they are not under threat attacks. It is beneficial in the GRC model."
"ZeroFOX has no language limitations. It can detect many languages."
"I rate ZeroFOX a ten overall."
"The best thing about the tool is that its backend team is pretty good and has a strong engineering team."

Cons

"The product's dashboard and incident reports functionality needs enhancement."
"I would like to see more integration with other solutions. For example, integration well with Microsoft but not with other solutions."
"Non-Microsoft products may not integrate as smoothly."
"Some of the customization features could be improved by providing a portion of it as open source."
"It would be beneficial to enhance the pricing structure and make it more affordable."
"Microsoft Defender Threat Intelligence should integrate with different platforms."
"It's a bit complicated to manage because you have many dependencies of servers, many dependencies in queue, and so on. Entries or different endpoints, and you make different configuration topics for each one. So that's a major problem."
"A stable licensing model is absent"
"Social media takedowns are a major issue. The takedowns should not take more than two to three hours."
"ZeroFOX needs improvement in handling duplicate alerts. If an alert on a domain, such as abcd.com, has not been addressed or is still in progress, similar new alerts are not combined into a single incident."
"ZeroFOX is not configured to grab the information automatically, including the news."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The product has multiple subscription models."
"It is an expensive product."
"They offer two license plans: Microsoft Defender for endpoints and Microsoft Defender for businesses."
"The pricing of the solution is good."
"The product is a part of my Microsoft 365 subscription, so there is no additional cost. It is cost-effective."
"I rate the product's price a six or seven on a scale of one to ten, where one is expensive, and ten is cheap."
"There is a need to make yearly payments towards the licensing charges attached to the product."
"Considering Microsoft is constantly changing licensing, I would give it a seven out of ten. It can be difficult to get your head around it, especially for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)."
