A fusion product that excels in multiple facets
The initial setup is easy. It has made life easier compared to other ERPs in the market. Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP offers features like spreadsheet loaders and integration tools that facilitate data migration from legacy systems to the new ERP version. These tools provide a plug-and-play interface, simplifying data input for functional and technical personnel. Earlier, It was a day-to-day job of inserting the data; migration was complex, and keeping track was difficult. Migration and tracking are streamlined with Fusion Cloud ERP, and tasks such as importing and exporting data are more straightforward. I would rate the initial setup a nine out of ten, where one is complex and ten is easy. The availability of connectivity tools, learning resources, and Oracle MetaLink support greatly aids users during implementation. The supportive community, including the Oracle ERP community, provides valuable assistance.

The product is easy to use and provides consistent updates and upgrades
The vendor stopped supporting the solution on the Linux platform. We can only use it on Windows. It is very bad. I don't know why they discontinued support for Linux. Now we are supposed to use Microsoft SQL Server, which I don’t like very much. We are left with no options. The vendor must give users the option to use what they are comfortable with. Most of the functionalities are not available on the browser. We have to install the desktop client. It would be very good if the vendor could make all the functionalities available on the web browser version. We would not have to go around installing workstations. We could just provision it from the browser.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"What's most valuable in Oracle ERP Cloud is that it's one of the largest ERPs available in the market and it has a lot of customization features. It also has a lot of flexibility and integration options that work with other applications. Many of the customers also migrate to the cloud, so Oracle ERP Cloud is a preferred solution."
"Oracle has proprietary cloud technology and provides high levels of technology and security."
"ERP Cloud's most valuable features are general ledger, accounting, expense management, and procurement. These four functions are crucial."
"The solution is highly configurable"
"The solution saves time and money."

Cons

"Oracle can make the system more stable which includes some changes as some of the use cases were not available in Oracle's systems and the element’s value needed to be defined."
"UI is not very presentable for a cloud solution."
"If you go for the real-time process, the patch of work and the time to update the product will be too much."
"Technical support is good, however, sometimes we do need to wait for an answer."
"The solution should implement improvements with AI technology. Specifically, in the realm of ERP tools, this can be particularly beneficial, not only for cloud-based systems but for all types of tools. Additionally, a highly desirable feature is the ability to work offline."
"We have had concerns about the security and flexibility of the application. The approach with Oracle ERP Cloud should be more holistic rather than user or computer-based."
"We're definitely looking at a new system because everything in this product needs improving."
"The vendor stopped supporting the solution on the Linux platform."

Pricing and Cost Advice
