Trustworthy and provides good availability
Our administrator found the solution easy to use, but once that administrator left, it felt very overwhelming to the individual who took it over. It could be more of a knowledge transfer situation that didn't happen, but we didn't know if it was easy to use. Precisely Assure QuickEDD is deployed on the cloud in our organization. The implementation of QLED helped us with our recovery time objective and was a seamless transition. In order to utilize the product to its fullest potential, users should be knowledgeable of what it offers. They should also form a relationship with the person who is their representative. Overall, I rate the solution an eight or nine out of ten.

"Synchronous applications are valuable."
"The product is very straightforward and very easy to use from the client-side."
"The direct SAN backup feature perfectly integrates with our 3PAR storage infrastructure."
"It's the most easy-to-use backup replication that I have used so far."
"It serves its intended purpose and it works well."
"The solution is easy to install and very stable."
"The granular restoration that it provides for a business application is most valuable. For example, for Exchange, we can restore a single mailbox or email. We can also do SQL Server restoration and bare-metal recovery for operating systems."
"One valuable feature of Veeam ONE for backup management is its dashboard, which offers a comprehensive view of backups and other essential data."
"This product is user-friendly. The interface is easy to use."

Cons

"Our administrator found the solution easy to use, but once that administrator left, it felt very overwhelming to the individual who took it over."
"There should be more interactive dashboards."
"There is a lot of room for improvement, but the primary issue we have is that it's not built for the cloud."
"They could include better automation features for migrating VMs without further configuration for the product."
"There is always some room for improvement, especially with some of the different technologies such as DB2. Commvault has a DB2 agent, but Veeam still doesn't have it. We have to use the universal one for it."
"Limited support for environments other than VMware or Microsoft."
"I would like a solution for SAP systems to be included."
"Some of the best practice documentation could be improved."
"The orchestration feature can be improved. They can improve the virtual machine orchestration to make it similar to VMware. They can also provide an option to automate the backup and recovery and schedule a backup."
"Recovery speed is slow. Full recovery on large machines (1TB+) takes too long"

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is expensive. The cost varies based on your requirements. If you want to manage it, there is an extra cost."
"The price of Veeam Backup Replication has been increasing their price and my customers are asking why. They have CPU-based licenses and a Universal License, the prices should be reduced."
"This solution requires a license and the organizations I was involved in were using an enterprise license."
"It's the market price. It isn't expensive, nor is it cheap."
"For what it does, the price is acceptable."
"On a scale from one to ten, where one is expensive and ten is cheap, I rate the solution's pricing a nine out of ten."
"We pay on an annual basis. We pay roughly $12,000 for our software subscription."
"Veeam Backup and Replication is a cost-effective solution"
"I don't know what the costs are for sure, but I think that it's on a yearly basis."
