Mist AI and Cloud have definitely improved the functioning of our organization. The access to the Internet, including its speed and reliability, has significantly improved. Moreover, managing the network through cloud controllers has become much easier.
In our university, we particularly needed a secure and reliable Internet connection for the students' community area. Ensuring uninterrupted Internet access for studying purposes has been vital. Currently, the speed has increased drastically, which is highly valuable to us.
There are some technical issues that may require attention. It could be related to configuration issues rather than hardware problems. We have experienced sudden disconnections followed by reconnections.
In future releases, if there could be more plug-and-play functionality provided; it would make things easier for us. So, a simpler configuration process, like plug and play
I have been using Mist AI and Cloud for more than a year.
I would rate the stability of this solution as an eight.
I would rate the scalability as a seven out of ten. We have more than 800 endpoints for this solution. The users are primarily students.
Mist AI cloud is used daily. So, we are utilizing this solution to its maximum potential.
I would rate my experience with the initial setup an eight out of ten, one being difficult and ten being easy. It was relatively easy.
The cloud provider was provided by Mist AI and Cloud. We have around twenty-five devices using it, and everything is managed through Mist.
Deploying this solution took around eight to nine months because it involved a large-scale setup. We had to install approximately 800 access points.
We sought the help of a third-party partner, Juniper, for the deployment. They were a significant part of the deployment team.
We have a team working 24/7 to ensure maintenance and support. They work in different areas and handle various tasks, ensuring that everything runs smoothly.
Mist AI and Cloud are relatively high-priced.
I would recommend giving it a try. It's a good solution.
Overall, I would rate the solution a seven out of ten.
Mist AI and Cloud is used for its connectivity, location-based tracking, filtering of connection, and user-tracking on the Wi-Fi end.
The performance side of the product is solid, so I am really happy about that. Multi PSK (Pre-shared Key) is a very good feature in the solution.
I haven't found any weaknesses during any deployment. Maybe in the future, I'm not sure. But for now, it's a pretty solid product, and we are really happy with it.
The solution doesn't provide mail notifications currently. In future releases of the solution, I would like the solution to provide email or mail notifications.
I have been familiar with Mist AI and Cloud for about a few months since our company was involved in a few deployment processes. Currently, my customers are using the solution. I am a distributor of the solution.
Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.
If the requirements of the Access Points are not standard with the number of users, then you have to change it, but you can add another device and scale up the solution.
The number of users using the solution depends on the deployment. We recommend a maximum of fifty people for Access Points for a better experience. But you can also use one Access Point without any issues.
So far, we haven't had any reason to contact technical support since the implementation was pretty straightforward.
Previously, I used Ruckus and Aruba. Mist AI and Cloud is better when compared to its competitors. Deployment-wise, it's pretty straightforward since rather than just connecting it one by one, the solution's installation, setting up for a new IP address, we just connect it with the LAN network, and it's up and running.
It is hard to comment on whether Ruckus and Aruba have any advantages over Mist AI and Cloud, especially considering the fact that they are on-prem solutions.
The implementation process was really easy. Just by typing in a code for API, one can deploy it. Two people are needed for deployment.
Depending on the features, I think it's quite reasonably priced, especially considering the facilities of the product. The licensing costs depend on the products. I'm not quite certain what the enterprises pay for the product.
I am happy with the product.
I would tell those planning to use the solution to have an open internet connection and make sure that the connectivity to Mist Cloud is okay. Other than that, it's all good. I rate the overall product a ten out of ten.
Mist AI is used for various purposes. One example is using Mist AI to create wireless networks. APN can be used with Mist AI.
There are several valuable features. One of them is Cibas, and another one is Marvis.
Marvis helps troubleshoot network connectivity issues. It's particularly useful when there are no engineers available to diagnose the problems.
I believe there is room for improvement. It would be beneficial to have support for the Chinese language.
In the next version, I think it would be great to have a couple of additional features. First, the ability to request my location through the API. Second, incorporate a Bluetooth feature into the solution.
I have been using this solution for almost two years.
I would rate the stability an eight out of ten. It is pretty stable.
I would rate the scalability an eight out of ten. It is very convenient to scale.
We have more than ten users using the solution. Moreover, our clients are mostly enterprise businesses.

Positive
The initial setup is easy. I would rate it a nine out of ten.
If I operate it, the installation process is not very difficult to understand. You have a base network level that can be easily comprehended. Generally, the deployment process takes around two to four hours.
There are various steps involved in the deployment process. First, I needed to set up the accounts and create a network account for myself. It took me about a day to add my account to the company's account. After that, I configured the network settings according to the requirements, including routing and policies. If there were any connections or access that I didn't want on my network, I could stop them from being connected.
I would rate the pricing model a seven out of ten, where one represents a low price, like very cheap, and ten represents a high price, like very expensive.
There is a fixed price, and for certain features, you have to pay an additional amount.
It's important to trust in the solution. However, the pricing is variable and not cost-efficient.
Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten.
Our customers use Mist AI for SD-WAN solutions, wired, and wireless networks for Enterprise.
The main benefits are that customers pay less for operational expenses, such as deploying, troubleshooting and monitoring.
It has a user friendly interface. Some issues can be resolved without user.
It's really easy to provision and support. Those are its main features.
There is room for improvement in pricing.
In future releases, they need to add some router models. Because currently, it supports only SSR and SRX routers. But adding other routers would be good.
I have been working with this solution for about one year. I work for Juniper Distribution Company.
I was certified by Juniper in this solution two months ago.
It's a very stable system because it has redundancy in different cloud providers. MIST AI is a set of microservices. Each microservice can be upgraded individually without impacting to other microservices.
It's scalable because this Mist cloud solution can be used by managed service providers to manage thousands of access points and switches for a lot of companies.
The technical support can see any issues and help, for example, if an export is damaged or doesn't work properly, they open tickets automatically. But personally, I haven't conversed with support.
I have experience with Cisco Wi-Fi solution, MikroTik solution, Wi-Fi solution, and a little bit with Aruba.
MikroTik, for example, is very cheap and useful for small companies. Aruba has a good Wi-Fi solution, not cheap, but at an optimal price.
Juniper is a good solution, high quality because it is a leader now in the Gartner Quadrant for Wired and Wireless LAN Access Infrastructure.
The initial setup is very easy. You only need to scan QR codes on the devices, and that's it.
It's not difficult to maintain because Mist AI has a virtual assistant, which can help find any issues and provide recommendations for solving them.
It is worth the money because it's very reliable equipment. So, it decreases the OpEx.
The price is not cheap, but it's a reliable solution and very easy for management.
I definitely recommend Mist AI. Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten.
A few of my customers have had a very good experience with the solution. Since last year, there have been no complaints from the customers. Most of our customers use the solution in their offices, while some use them at their business centers. If a customer faces any issues, I find the problem is from the ISP or Internet service provider.
I worked with multiple wireless technologies, but I found Mist to be very powerful and different from other platforms. We can quickly troubleshoot any issues through the mobile application without requiring a VPN to access our access points. It is a very feasible and powerful platform. Overall, I rate the product a ten out of ten.
AI and automatic configuration suggestions are the features I like since it works with our devices and has been very good. Also, Wi-Fi Assurance, Asset Tracking, User experience, detail insight view of the network and troubleshooting features are some feature of the solution that is valuable.

I hope soon MIST AI will allow other Vendor/OEM to control and configure from their configuration.
Mist AI and Cloud should allow other devices to configure with it.
I have experience with the Juniper solution for ten years and Mist Solution almost five years. Also, I have experiences in all the OSversion of the solution I am using, but I feel I am on the latest version. I am a distributor of the solution.
I haven't received any support calls from my customers or end-users for a year. Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.
I have a very good experience with the solution. Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten. In my opinion, I don't see any flaws in the solution. Around 100 customers,1000 users are using the solution, and they are mostly running enterprise-sized businesses.
I rate the technical support a ten out of ten.
Positive
Fortinet Wifi - Unstable, frequency problem, bad wifi handoff, poor user experiences, difficult to configure, complex troubleshooting, Hardware problem
On a scale of one to ten, where one is difficult and ten is easy, rate the setup a ten since it was very easy. Mist AI and Cloud are usually deployed on MIST cloud. Regarding the time taken for deployment, one device may need 5 minutes to get deployed since we have to configure Mist Cloud and then add some Mist devices, which may take 15 minutes. AfterConfiguring Mist Cloud takes five or seven days of testing, and then we analyze the configuration. For deployment, we followed the processes or guidelines suggested by Juniper.
I have deployed several by myself and my
I rate the pricing a eight on a scale of one to ten, where one is low, and ten is high. The solution's and Licensing price is little bit high for the end-users.
I will request to reduce the price for South Asian countries.
Cisco,
I am a technical person. So from my end, I see that the solution's interface is good, and there is no problem. But some end-users might have their experience. In general, the interface is very user-friendly.
Mist AI and Cloud can be configured easily on Mist or Juniper devices. In the customers' networks, other devices might be present, and they cannot configure other other vendor devices with Mist AI and Cloud. With the Mist AI portal, one should be able to configure Other devices and save the interface also.
I would definitely recommend Mist AI and Cloud to those planning to use it. I am fully satisfied with the product, and my experience has been very good. Apart from the pricing, everything is verygood in the solution. The Wi-Fi experience, configuration experience, managing the tech experience, and AI experience of the solution has been good. Overall, I rate the product a ten out of ten.
We plan to migrate 100 per cent to the cloud and do not want anything left behind on-premises. The solution helps to manage the controller easily. A centralized cloud system makes deployment easier.
The tool's best part is the GUI. It is user-friendly and fast due to AI features. The solution can help you fix things with AI, which is impressive.

The solution is deployed on a private cloud.
With Wi-Fi 6, we are getting better coverage and better performance.
AI is the most valuable feature.
There could be more integration.
I have been using Mist for about two and a half years.
The product is stable.
It's scalable.
Technical support is very fast. It's very easy to open tickets and they respond quickly.
We were using Extreme Networks before. We found that it's much easier to manage with Mist.
Initial setup was a bit complex. There were different options and configurations to implement.
We have around 400 access points, so implementation took one month. We used a team of about 20 people. There was a technician for the mounting and another four engineers for the configuration.
Our implementation strategy was a migration from the old access point to the new one.
We used a reseller for the deployment.
The price is about the same compared to other vendors. There is an add-on license, but it's up to you if you want to buy it or not.
We also evaluated Aruba.
I would rate this solution 8 out of 10.
It's just easy for troubleshooting. One of the reasons that we are changing is because troubleshooting in the other solution is a bit difficult, but Mist makes our lives a little easier.
