We started with UiPath to automate activities that required gathering data from different applications and posting the data to another app.

Works
Extraction of complete tables from websites automatically extracts data from multiple pages
What is our primary use case?
We use UiPath to automate multiple flows for our client. We have flows in multiple stadia: development, acceptance, and prod.
How has it helped my organization?
UiPath is the first RPA tool I've used, but it seems to me that it is the best of what is currently available on the market. It is very easy to use, and you'll be able to automate your first flow in a matter of.
What is most valuable?
- Extraction of complete tables from websites automatically extracts data from multiple pages by indicating the 'next page' button.
- The newly launched Computer Vision functionality also seems very interesting.
What needs improvement?
The licensing model is for me still a little bit confusing. There are a lot of different license types for the robots, which makes it difficult to comprehend in what case you should use which license type.
Most error types are very clear, which makes it very easy to debug the flows, but from time to time some general error messages might pop up (Object not set to an instance of an object), without specific reference, which makes it a lot harder to find the error.
For how long have I used the solution?
Less than one year.

RPA Technical Trainer at Acronotics
One great feature which is relatively simple is its ability to pause a recording and resume it
What is our primary use case?
I wanted to learn this platform to widen my breadth of knowledge and to have more options in my RPA toolbox.
How has it helped my organization?
I am using it to help individuals, entrepreneurs and enterprises achieve the throughput, accuracy and additional capacity they require. I recently certified on the platform and find it quite satisfying to work with.
What is most valuable?
One great feature is relatively simple, and that is the ability to pause a recording and resume it. When debugging UiPath's ability to slow down its execution speed, visually identify UI elements it's interacting with while simultaneously showing the activity line it is working on is priceless. Coming from a lean process improvement background, I can appreciate this being implemented in a software application.
What needs improvement?
- The ability to search for activity lines in your code in the outline view would be great. Just type, and it would filter it in a way that you could click and jump to it.
- It would be nice to have a centralized debugging tool for issues with arguments passing (missing/type) so as to easily detect problems.
For how long have I used the solution?
Less than one year.

Automation has not only reduced processing time but also eliminated human errors
What is our primary use case?
We are automating all transaction-based processes, primarily in the finance department and sales operations. With this, the personnel involved in these transaction-based activities have been able to start working on more value-added tasks like data analysis and performance management of the operation.
How has it helped my organization?
UiPath automation has enabled different organizations with the possibility to redeploy personnel involved in transaction-based activities to do more value-added tasks like data analysis and performance management of the operation.
This automation has not only reduced processing time but also eliminated human errors, driving an improvement in quality scores and CTQs.
What is most valuable?
Development is straightforward and simple; it uses object-oriented coding by doing drag and drop. The deployment process is quick and easy with great features for testing and troubleshooting.
Reusable components library is an excellent source of information and content to ease and speed up the development process. This feature, combined with a robust infrastructure creates an excellent foundation for driving automation to the next level.
What needs improvement?
Engagement during the proof of concept period could have been better in regards to the implementation and follow-up. Also, after completing the PoC, we should have done a review of the critical learning and aspects of the application to determine the next steps based on the objectives of the company.
For how long have I used the solution?
Three to five years.

Reduces manual efforts which results in efficient and time-saving automation
What is our primary use case?
Automating HR related processes that need update validation before it proceeds to the next level.
How has it helped my organization?
UiPath reduces manual efforts which result in efficient and time-saving automation and result in the benefit of the organization in terms of ROI.
What is most valuable?
Cognitive analysis is the most valuable feature because it helps to launch our automation smartly with many integrations.
What needs improvement?
While running the code, if we want to pause it we can't, so it results in some exceptions for attended bots.
For how long have I used the solution?
One to three years.

The traditional click and input features are very valuable
What is our primary use case?
I use UiPath primarily for implementing automation solutions to client companies. The use cases can vary a lot from client to client.
How has it helped my organization?
Regarding all the solutions that we have provided as a company, we were able to give our clients better efficiency and the ability to distribute their employees' work to more "important" matters.
What is most valuable?
The traditional click and input features are very valuable, to begin with. Also, the ability to interact with virtual machines through Citrix is very useful!
What needs improvement?
There are still a lot of things that could be improved, like the identification of elements on the screen, the error handling, etc.
For how long have I used the solution?
Less than one year.

Software Trainer at Bilge Adam
The most important feature is that it is independent of programming languages and can be written with a basic algorithm
What is our primary use case?
I was giving software training in a company. And in this company, there was a time-wasting chore. At the end of the training, we took note of the students who did not come in the polls, and we were recording the polls on the institution's website. Unit supervisors wanted to be notified of the students who were absent three times in a row. This process is constantly checked and repeated because of the automation that I've done with this chore.
How has it helped my organization?
UiPath increased the value added by the company. The reason for this was that the repetitive processes were carried out automatically with UiPath robots. Especially in the field of software, the same processes can be repeated severally. These situations prevented employees from developing as they lost time and prevented them from adding more value. Apart from this, a newly developed platform has prevented some experts from using these programs today.
What is most valuable?
The most important feature of UiPath is that it is independent of programming languages and can be written with a basic algorithm. Moreover, the new library can be added, and new activities can be added to those who know new programming. This allows the program to be developed and supported.
What needs improvement?
UiPath comes with an infrastructure suitable for development. It may be a disadvantage that the simple coding sections in the studio environment are with Visual Basic. Nowadays one of the most widely used languages can be supported with C#. Furthermore, it is possible for robots to interpret the information obtained from repetitive operations by machine learning. This is a situation I believe should be directed to the field of artificial intelligence.
For how long have I used the solution?
Less than one year.
