Yes, Lynda is now renamed to LinkedIn Learning. They are essentially the same thing, an eLearning tool, but they are also different. How familiar were you with Lynda? Because even though they are on the same platform now, the focus of the courses has kind of shifted. Lynda started out as animation and art based, and they later added audio and video courses, marketing, design, photography, etc. But now LinkedIn Learning has cut that variety and only offers strictly business skills-enhancement courses. Of course, this makes sense, as that's what their platform is all about, but if you're looking for the big variety of Lynda content, you may have to seek competitors to get it.
Hi, yes, they are the same. A few years ago, Lynda was acquired by LinkedIn, then LinkedIn was acquired by Microsoft, and in 2021 the two eLearning platforms became LinkedIn Learning. What remained from the original Lynda is the high quality of courses, and I guess some workers but I can't tell you much about that. However, the content focus has changed to now fit LinkedIn's style a lot more. It's very closely integrated with LinkedIn as well - like users can share their achievements on their profiles, etc. So, while they are the same platform, they aren't the same in the sense of content as much.
