I recommend Aruba Networks Wireless WAN. I have been using Aruba for approximately a decade. It has a great centralized management system, which means we don’t need wireless LAN controllers at every location, making life simpler for our IT team.
I feel that Aruba is very flexible when it comes to configuration and deployment. with Aruba, I can set up different interfaces on the actual access points we have connected to the network.
Some Aruba Networks Wireless WAN benefits:
Reasonable cost: Aruba is competitively priced. Compared with their largest competitor, their price is around four or five percent lower.
Integration: Aruba integrates with the ClearPass security system on site.
Sophisticated web interface: The web GUI for the Aruba Central wireless controller provides many configuration options.
Stability: Aruba is reliable and has a low failure rate.
Scalable: Aruba allows you to easily scale your network infrastructure to support thousands of remote users.
Easy setup and deployment: The initial installation of Aruba Networks Wireless WAN is straightforward.
Customer support: Aruba’s technical support is responsive and knowledgeable.
One downside of Aruba is that it is lacking documentation. It would be useful to have more information on how to configure its various features. You have to do a lot of research to find out what external antennas are going to suit your environment. Unfortunately, Aruba doesn't provide much helpful information on that topic.
Overall, I would rate Aruba Networks Wireless WAN an eight out of ten.
