I know some really sharp people at Infinidat, many of whom are former XIVers. I've read the technical briefs and I think the technology is solid. And of course, there's no doubting the brilliance of Moshe Yanai.
But here's the thing; I don't know any Infinidat customers. No one in any of the accounts I've covered has this solution installed.
By contrast, I've run across a multitude of 3Par customers, most of whom are loyal to the brand and swear by the technology.
I recommend 3PAR Storages. Are very robust and in years I so only some disk replaced compared with other vendors.
Also 3PAR AFA should have best IOPS and Latency performance.
As Anush said you never know what big fish will eat Infinidat and how will be after!

at this games all the constructor think that they are better, the real test is what the real need is the workload otherwise the workload splits in percentage and then either do POC or if you do not have the time to ask you commitment of performance with precise targets
Is a traditional AFA that runs the same 3PAROS, the benefits of which are that, data is broken down into chunklets and striped across for performance and redundancy. If you have disparate 3PAR models across sites, you can still replicate etc. 3PAR has great thin provisioning, replication, metro clustering capabilities. Depending on the Storserv model, you can categorize it as a Tier1 storage.
Infinidat:
While I have personally not worked on Infinidat, I have met them and discussed the product. It belongs in the same layer at VMAX, HDS VSP G1000, IBM DS88xx etc. It is intended for mission critical apps and delivers probably the indusstry’s only 7 9s availability. It has been widely adopted by Fortune 500/100 organizations. My concern with Infinidat would be obvious: support across geographies, they are always a candidate for acquisition etc.
In short, you cant go wrong with either. You would want to look at the apps being run (mission critical etc) and probably beyond everything else the cost. Hope that helps.

It all depends on your workdloads. If it is a virtual workload than Tintri is the best All Flash solution. simplicity, visibiltiy, destiny, performance, Etc.

Full disclosure, we can sell the HPE 3PAR Flash and I haven’t run up against INFINIDAT, which would make me be more hesitant to sell that unit! We use 3PAR in our Cloud Storage and it is a very robust and secure SAN. Let me check with one of our SAN SE’s to see if I can get anymore clarification for you, but if the person asking isn’t another VAR/MSP, we can definitely help them with the HPE 3PAR storage.
Numi is quite correct 3PAR AFA and Infinidat are two very different products, the 3PAR aimed at workloads that require low latency and Infinidat at more general workloads like OLTP, backup, etc.
Without know what sort of workloads you are trying to support its hard to make a recommendation, however one word of caution for the 3PAR's is due to their use of ASIC's, support for large blocksizes (128GB and above) is less than stellar and wouldn't recommend them.

I do not agree for infinidat, the product is very good (I try it ) what I explained is simply the difference between the two products
if I compare 3PAR (that I try-it) with kaminario I prefer kaminario
but if i compare netapp with infinibox i prefer infinibox
Hi Numi, that's correct. That is why I went a step further and talked about Synergy. Synergy has the ability to install multiple 80 drive shelves into the blade center chassis. Those 80 drives can be SSD's that are then tied back to the 3Par and everything is fully managed by OneView. It makes things much easier to manage but unbelievably simple to deploy. Buying servers and then deploying Infinidat would be going backwards in industry progression. HPE is looking forward and so are some of the other big 3 manufacturers.

For me it's two completely different products, HPE 3PAR full flash is a product that recommends for people who are looking for a lot of performance, and infinidat is made to support all the needs of a company NAS and SAN (like Nettapp but more efficient like XIV of IBM but cheaper) but for the performance it is preferable to take HPE 3PAR or other pure storage, kaminario, IBM FLASHSYSTEM. ...
Be careful if you have synchronous replication to do

I only know the 3PARs but those I know well.
I haven’t worked with the INFINIDAT at all.
I really like the 3PAR based on all the storage systems that I have worked with/on. The 3PAR beats all the other systems I know. But as said this is not including the INFINIDAT hence my lack of knowledge of that particular system/vendor.
HPE Synergy is a new platform that redefines automation and makes Cisco’s, EMC’s, and other hyper converged platforms obsolete. The composer module with Synergy runs OneView in a single pane of glass. It’s the new blade infrastructure from HPE that you can have a disk shelf with up to 80 drives and provision them however way you want to individual blade. You can have multiple disk shelves per frame. The blades are also converged with SAN / FCOE. With the old blade technology you had to do uplinks for each chassis. With the Synergy you have full redundancy with the first two frames and then you can have up to 5 frames in a local cluster and leverage the uplinks on the master frames. It means fewer upstream ports, less cabling and ease of management. Once you have an initial domain established, you literally just plug into an interconnect and OneView auto discovers it and there’s no need for you to configure it. For any stateless operating system, the image streamer eliminates the need for hard drives to boot off of. Everything boots from an image streamer. It reduces the cost of SD cards or drives to boot off of.
Like I mentioned in the post above, this makes 3Par plug and play. It does all the 3Par configuring and provisioning for you within the OneView software. Why anyone would buy a 3rd party solution and hook it up to another MFR's servers is beyond me when HPE has come out with this technology.
This really depends on your server hardware. HPE has developed a new server platform called Synergy. The Synergy runs on OneView software that eliminates the need for a controller on the 3Par. It manages everything from one single pane of glass. If I was moving forward on a new data center refresh, I'd recommend taking a very serious look at the combination of Synergy and 3Par. There's noting like it in the market. These smaller and newer solutions such as Infinidat have some enterprise features but only HPE's Synergy & 3Par technologies are all inclusive. HPE has deep pockets and they've taken passed Cisco, EMC, VMware and other competitors in the storage space. While other manufacturers try to get their platforms to work in conjunction with other manufacturers (Cisco and EMC/Dell), HPE has create a technology that others will take years to match. Unfortunately, HPE isn't great about marketing their products. They have the best technology in the market today but their marketing is terrible. If you want to know more about the Synergy & 3Par technologies, please contact me at 949-204-5714.

I recommend SolidFire by NetApp. It is an all flash, scalable, open source system that costs less, rates higher and is backed by NetApp.

Neither they’re both overpriced garbage.
Would recommend 1. Accelstor Sapphire All flash array 2. Nutanix NX8325 3. HPE Nimble Storage All flash platform
