The product offers protection against web exploitation. With code injection and SQL injection, everything is covered in the tool. My company has around four applications on Barracuda Web Application Firewall. Everything has been working smoothly with the tool. Speaking about AI-driven security measures, I would say that the solution has its own in-built machine learning techniques, so we are not using any other solution or AI solution, as it is all integrated with Barracuda Web Application Firewall itself. Though it is a costly tool, it is a good product that is stable, secure and offers good protection. I rate the tool an eight out of ten.
The product works effectively. However, it is complicated to understand and requires essential knowledge. It significantly improved our overall web security posture, addressing intrusions and enhancing control over web URLs in our environment. We can identify and block malicious URLs. With proper training, it is easy to manage templates and policies for this tool. They provide comprehensive documentation and training courses available for free on their website. It has good features for forensic analysis and reporting. It has a user-friendly interface and seamless integration with SQL. I rate it a seven out of ten.
The solution has successfully helped meet the compliance requirement, considering the HTTP protection that the product offers along with the DDoS feature, making it a pretty good tool. The tool also offers protection against the OWASP Top 10 attacks, a default feature available in the product. In terms of the effectiveness of the solution offered in our company, I would say that we are able to see the logs and get alerts. The actual effectiveness of the solution can only be witnessed when a company gets attacked, and to date, my company has never experienced such a scenario. I would say that the solution is working effectively. The product is pretty straightforward when it comes to areas like configuration management and monitoring. The policy management is very easy in the product. If you have applications in the cloud, like AWS, then Barracuda Web Application Firewall-as-a-Service or Barracuda Web Application Firewall deployed on the cloud can be a good option. The product has had no impact on the user experience front. Barracuda asks for the captures of DDoS attacks and asks the users about their challenges. I rate the overall tool a seven to eight out of ten.
In general, I would rate this solution an eight out of ten. It is not a ten because it works well, but there is room for optimization in a few areas. These include the kind of support, the graphical user interface, and the speed of the graphical interface. A better product that achieves these goals exists. In my 40 years of activity, I've never found a perfect one because all applications grow and change over time, and a new version is always an improvement in IT. So these are the reasons why there are two or three points that could be better optimized by Barracuda. The graphical interface, its speed, and the immediate support in case of issues. These aspects limit my evaluation.

I would give Barracuda Web Application Firewall nine out of ten. Barracuda Web Application Firewall is marketed for the enterprise segment because of its high cost. Barracuda Web Application Firewall is a comprehensive and dedicated web application firewall, and I highly recommend it.
I would rate the solution a nine out of ten. I use both Barracuda WAF and F5 but Barracuda is easy to use. F5 offers more control at another level. You can control your ship like a user. In Barracuda WAF, you can add or modify anything only with the help of support. Most of the features in Barracuda WAF are available in GUI mode. In the second version of F5, you can write iRules and apply them easily on the device. If you need something in the parameter level, you need to scan and then enable and disable the metacharacter for that particular parameter. There are some profilings available in Barracuda but they are not like F5. F5 has more general and applicable heuristics than Barracuda. However, there are good things about Barracuda too. If an attack is coming continuously, you can ask the device to block it temporarily for two to three minutes. F5 has not provided us with an option to block certain IPs for some time. Barracuda can help you block someone if the source is from a different IP. You can apply the rule to the device and block it for whatsoever time you want. The solution will unblock the IP after the prescribed time as well. This feature is not available in F5. F5 handles the implementation of single parameters and environmental parameters for financial applications easily. The profiling aspect is slower in Barracuda. Barracuda is easy for new people since everything that you need to implement the solution is available through the UI. You need little guidance for the solution. Anyone with knowledge of the HTTP header and signatures can use it very easily. It is more like Cisco in networking.

We're a Barracuda partner. WAF is new in the industry. It is very easy to use, implement, and deploy, and you can handle your daily operations very easily. Even the troubleshooting part is simple. I'd recommend the solution. If you ever run into issues, it's very easy to contact support and get the help you need. Plus, it is very easy to learn. They have a Barracuda Campus where you can go and get tutorials. All of the videos and documentation you need for any product are right there for you. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.
I don't remember which version of Barracuda Web Application Firewall I used, but it was the latest at the time. My organization has a few people using Barracuda Web Application Firewall. Only four or five people use the product. What I would tell people to do before using Barracuda Web Application Firewall is to first have a POC with different vendors and solutions and even use one or more open source firewalls and WAFs before making a decision. You have to first do a lot of research before installing Barracuda Web Application Firewall because even some open source WAFs can identify some attacks that Barracuda isn't able to identify. My rating for Barracuda Web Application Firewall is six out of ten. I'm a product user and not a reseller or partner of Barracuda Web Application Firewall.
I rate Barracuda Web Application Firewall an eight out of ten. Everything—support, efficiency, the tax rate—comes into the picture. I would recommend this solution to others who want to start using it.

We're just a transportation company. We're a customer. We don't have a business relationship with Barracuda. I recommend the solution to other organizations for protecting applications specifically in Azure. Overall, I would rate the solution at a nine out of ten.
We're a solution partner, an integrator. We have partnership-level agreements with the solution. We have multiple deployment models. We use it on-premises as well as on the cloud using both Amazon Web Services and Azure. Overall, I'd rate the solution seven out of ten. It would be hard for any product to rate a ten out of ten for me. However, to get a bit of a higher mark, it should offer better documentation and be more user-friendly, particularly where deployment is concerned. I'd still recommend Barracuda, though. It's pretty solid.
I used to be a customer before, however, now I am partners with Barracuda. We use both on-premises and public cloud deployment models. Overall, I'd give the solution a nine out of ten. I'd give it full marks, but it does have issues on the reporting side. The reports are a lot more expensive, even more so than the work itself. That's why I did not give it a 10. That said, I would recommend Barracuda Firewalls to anybody, any day of the week. They're fantastic.

I would rate it a five out of ten. My advice would be to explore the market. There are many good players. If a solution is on the higher side, it could be a better investment.
My advice to anybody who is implementing this solution is to find a good partner to assist with the implementation. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
The biggest lesson I learned is that our site is attacked every day. I would recommend Barracuda, but this recommendation is based on our particular case. For some cases this solution is good, but for some cases it's not. It's very hard to answer directly because of all the aspects that should be taken into account when you try to answer this question. I would rate it as eight out of ten.
One of my previous colleagues suggested this solution, they advised me of the company and the technologies. I would recommend this solution. I would rate this solution an eight out of ten.
Definitely, I would recommend Barracuda because of its simplicity. I know that they are now integrating the Web Application Firewall on Prime, in the cloud, as well. The only thing that is a challenge for me is storage, which limits my reporting. I would rate this solution a nine out of ten.
I manage and operate the device. We are working with the operation team each time applying manual updates, which is continuous. I'd like to see different information, to help handle issues in an easier way. I would rate the solution a 9 out of 10.
Barracuda Web Application Firewall is a game-changing cloud-connected security solution that enables organizations to safeguard both their applications and their data from an ever-growing array of advanced cyber threats. It offers protection from cyber attacks that target not only data and applications stored on the cloud but also those that are housed on web servers. 43% of the time a breach takes place via a compromised application.
