It is a good tool. my recommendation, the organization can use this tool for their business. However, there is still a need for improvement in extending the log retrieval limit from 60 days to at least 90 days or more. Also, I would like to have more data being analyzed at the same time. Overall, I would rate the solution a nine out of ten.
The product is a responsible tool for detection. It offers me complete visibility of network traffic in the public environment. It provides insights into user activities of data and application. We can detect issues based on user patterns. The tool is also interactive and very easy to use.
It's an advanced tool. It might not be suitable for small businesses or those businesses that are evolving or are new to security. This is a second-level product. You only need it once you have the basic security configured on your site with a firewall, IPS, SIEM, etc. You need to have all these in place. It's an advanced analytics tool, so you just need to understand what you are looking for, but there are also other alternatives in the market. I'd rate it a seven out of ten. It's a good tool. It gives many insights, but we didn't use it a lot. It's just there running at the backend.
I would recommend Cisco Stealthwatch Cloud to others. It has worked for me, it is profitable, and gives clients the expectations they wanted. I would rate Cisco Stealthwatch Cloud six out of ten for the people who are not very experienced or for an organization that does not have talent in IT. If you have an internal technical team that is very experienced, I would rate Cisco Stealthwatch Cloud an eight out of ten. Overall, I rate Cisco Stealthwatch Cloud a seven out of ten.
