When projects require specific UI kits that developers are using, I adapt them while maintaining control over the design system. Working with Figma has provided significant benefits over the past five years. Recently, I designed a presentation in Figma slides for a university UX workshop. When my laptop could not connect to their network, I was able to easily access my presentation by logging into their computer, demonstrating the advantage of Figma's online platform. Regarding licensing, I have observed that some companies, particularly in Sri Lanka, are hesitant about the seat-based pricing structure. They prefer fixed pricing rather than fluctuating costs based on the number of seats. Many companies continue using the free version due to concerns about unpredictable monthly costs. A more structured pricing model with fixed seat allocations might be more appealing to these organizations. This review rates Figma 10 out of 10.
