Juniper Contrail Networking presents a distinct alternative for those encountering issues with vendor solutions. Consequently, individuals who may have previously hesitated to explore OpenStack solutions are now reconsidering due to these factors, alongside the increasing ease of OpenStack installation. I highly recommend Contrail Networking. As part of OpenStack, Contrail offers more robust features than standard OpenStack components, making it an appealing option for those transitioning from VMware to an open solution, particularly for those interested in establishing their own private cloud networking. Contrail serves as a valuable complement to OpenStack. Juniper Contrail Networking has evolved to become more user-friendly over time. While it may have been perceived as complex in the past due to scripting requirements, today, it offers simplified solutions. For instance, automation tools such as those provided by Red Hat can streamline the deployment and management processes, making it easier for users to leverage Juniper Contrail Networking effectively. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.
Juniper Contrail Networking is quite impressive in terms of its advanced features. With the addition of AI and ML capabilities, it has proven to be one step ahead of its competitors. From a troubleshooting perspective, network administrators face issues related to connectivity association, authentication, time to connect, and throughput. However, Juniper's AI and ML-based Marvis tools provide proactive alerting, making it easier to manage and troubleshoot problems. It's simple to use and provides a better experience for both users and customers. I am completely satisfied with Juniper Contrail Networking.
