The solution's data processing capabilities depend upon the target load mechanism we use, but I find it quite okay. As part of maintenance, we sometimes raise a ticket with SAP, and they can get back to us. Depending on the project, the solution's maintenance may require around two people. We would like some AI functionalities added to the solution for cleansing purposes. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

SAP Data Services acts as a support tool, providing the necessary infrastructure for ensuring data quality. However, ultimately it depends on the user’s ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications to achieve optimal results. The real-time data integration feature allows us to view granular data. I recommend it to others and rate it an eight out of ten.
The product helped us streamline the data integration processes with efficient data conversion and transformation features. It is 80% to 90% helpful in improving data transformation capabilities. If you have to manage a large data set, opt for SAP Data Services. They could improve visibility and provide more integration with different platforms. I rate it a seven out of ten.
SAP Data Services has streamlined our company's data integration workflows since we have more than 800 jobs scheduled, and then the data loading part is taken care of in big data. To take care of the big data part, my company plans to move to Azure Databricks, during which I will have to face areas like data lakes. SAP Data Services supports our company in areas like data quality and data profiling. The feature of SAP Data Services that I find to be the most beneficial for data management for data transformations and loading data using IDOC. The feature of SAP Data Services has enhanced our company's business processes because we are able to run around 800 jobs in areas like data extraction and transaction objects. The tool helps manage areas involving pure purchasing orders or any other related areas that revolve around the data-loading process in SAP. Salesforce helps with the connectivity in the tool. SAP Data Services has impacted our organization's decision-making process, considering the major transactions for certain applications with huge amounts of data that we have in our environment. I rate the overall solution a seven out of ten.
I would rate the product an eight out of ten. The solution suits medium to enterprise organizations and would be expensive for small companies. The product is very useful for SAP customers.

We are SAP partners. The solution can work for big or small banks. I'd advise users to try this product, however, it needs to be implemented well with requirements taken into consideration properly. However, it does work very well. I would rate the solution eight out of ten.

My advice to others is they should consider if you need to use SAP Data Services. If it is a new business use case it might not be necessary. For example, if you are in an area where the landscape is mainly SAP, then it might make more sense to use the solution. However, if there is a need to connect data from other systems, or other services, then you don't necessarily need to use SAP Data Services as an option. You have to make sure the use case fits the solution. I rate SAP Data Services an eight out of ten

This is a good solution for medium to large organizations, but a lot of prior training is needed in order to support the product post-implementation.We would not recommend this solution for smaller organizations, due to the large numbers of staff required for ongoing support and maintenance. Also, if an organization is considering this solution, I recommend they look at the cloud-based version, which is less support-dependent I would rate this solution a six out of ten.
It's easy to learn, and you can start with the training courses provided within the tool and follow them. Because I've used this tool for a long time, I would give it a rating of ten out of ten.
My advice to others is if they're specific to SAP applications, such as SAP CRM or any other SAP-specific applications, SAP provides a bundle package. It focuses on primarily 100 applications. A type of end-to-end full solution. I rate SAP Data Services an eight out of ten.
I'm an end-user of SAP. I'm using it with my partner. I'd advise new users that if they want to be on an equal level in the data analyst field, this is one of the finest tools. It is still a bit under the radar of people and many don't really realize its potential. They're still sticking on the data stage or Informatica. However, there are certain dependencies that SAP has created in which this particular Data Services works best. I'd rate the solution an eight out of ten.
We are end-users. We provide services for the customer. I would not necessarily be the customer. I would provide services on behalf of the customer. We've installed what we call a specific DDI. We use a hybrid setup. I'd advise new users to know the product more before they implement it. It's important to be familiar with it before you commit. I'd rate the solution at a nine out of ten in the environment in which it's used, which is the best tool. In an environment where you've got theft as a source and you've got many targets, there are very few solutions that can match it.

I rate SAP Data Services seven out of 10. It's a powerful tool that does a lot. It has a lot of strengths, but there are some annoyances that slow down the programmer. It gets frustrating over time. It's also crucial that your repository database technology performs well. I would say seven out of 10 because it's powerful. It would be a nine if it weren't for the clunky source code management and a few other hassles like its inability to generate code. I probably wouldn't choose this tool for what we're doing because I don't think SAP views this tool as their go-forward technology. SAP now has HANA and a new set of tools that operate in the cloud. I believe the company is primarily in a maintenance situation with Data Services. So if I were starting a new ETL project from scratch, I wouldn't go with SAP Data Services.

We are already an SAP gold partner. We have a significant level of partnership with SAP. We also used to do the reports for SAP. This is the only tool that we suggest to our clients and we do the implementation for banks in the Middle East. Nearly all customers have the same tool that we use. We are one of the leading banking software providers in the region. We do not work with the cloud. We do local installations only. We don't use anything on the cloud because banks normally have policies in place where they cannot share with the cloud for security and risk aversion reasons. It is one of the nicest tools on the market and people really should use it. As compared to the other tools it is easier to implement and easier to understand. It's very efficient especially if you are looking at performance and stability. I'd rate the solution nine out of ten. I'd give it perfect marks, but there is always room for some more enhancements.

This is not a solution I recommend for incident management. SAP works well for the financial side of the business, but for anybody who is researching solutions for incident management, I suggest that they use another product. I would rate this solution a six out of ten.
We use the on-premises deployment model. SAP Data Services predominantly works for event tracking or training environments. However, if you're talking about social media, where there needs to be a lot of understanding about the data, you could build this solution into that area as well. You will just need a lot of research and development. I'd rate the solution seven out of ten. If they build in cognitive capabilities and went beyond just reporting on the dashboard, I'd rate it higher.

Many customers want to apply additional tools that are connected and integrated with SAP Analytics. It gives them more flexibility in building some reports. In some cases, we would still require an additional appliance, some additional tools to fulfill the needs of our customers. I would rate this solution an eight out of 10.

On a scale from one to ten, when one is the worst and ten is the best, I think I would rate SAP Data Services BI a nine out of ten. For me, a product needs to be perfect to rate as a ten. I couldn't even give a ten to any product because I haven't seen any product that is perfect. My true feeling is that it is between eight and nine, but if I have to say eight or nine, I choose nine. I can recommend SAP as a product because the negative side of the product usually comes from different approaches to development. In a way, this is a kind of marketing because some developers prefer to use one type of development where they feel comfortable and think data services can be implemented properly. I believe there are better data services approaches which are much more of an advantage in the long run for projects, but of course, people don't always project the best long-term data approach because they expect short term results.

We are using the on-premises version of the solution. We work on the enterprise version and have a few hundred users. I like the platform. It's quite robust. It's just there are little improvements that could make the solution better, but it's quite a good tool. I would rate the solution seven out of ten.
We use the on-premises version of the solution. We have started using the Cloud Platform Integration with the CPA Data Service. It's a hybrid: both on-premises and cloud. SAP Data Services has a tool, but it is not a cloud-capable solution. I would advise users thinking about integrating this solution to look at your entire landscape. If you have any cloud systems as part of your landscape, then you need to have a clear understanding of what BODS is capable of doing. BODS Data Services is not good for the cloud. I would rate this solution seven out of ten because cloud integration is not available and the scheduling part is very immature at this point.
SAP Data Services is a top-ranking data integration and data quality tool. This is a product that aims to provide its users with effective access to their data in order to transform it and connect it to various business processes. SAP Data Services offers companies detailed data insights which improve decision-making and make company operations more effective.
