The company I work for is very conservative with AI adoption due to sensitive information. My only exposure to AI in the company is through Microsoft Teams' Copilot for meeting notes and action items. I recommend tools based on what the user needs to do. It's appropriate for simpler tasks and business operations. For more complex projects with 500 or more high-level steps, worldwide integration, or engineering build-outs, I'd recommend Microsoft Project. Overall, I'd rate Smartsheet a four out of ten based on my personal experience because it holds me back compared to what I can do in Microsoft Project.

It lacks integration. If someone is looking for a standalone project planning tool, I would recommend it. But if you want to integrate with other dynamic activity trackers, like Jira, I would suggest using something else.
I share Smartsheet with my team, all the stakeholders, owners, and project managers. They have access to it, and they can look at a to-do sheet or a project sheet. They can also download certain files that they need at certain times. If the files are updated, they're updated in the system. It's similar to Google Sheets or Google Docs, where you can go in and modify files. The solution's format is pretty good. Smartsheet's real-time data tracking allows me to tell my clients that they can go to the tool and see real-time updates on what's going on with their projects. The learning curve for Smartsheet is pretty quick because most people already know how to use Excel. Smartsheet looks exactly like Excel, where you just have to input data, but it has more capability. I would recommend the solution to other users because it simplifies running a project, storing data, and creating useful sheets for projects. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

The tool is a good product; I am glad we have it. The main pros of Smartsheet include its familiar interface, especially for those accustomed to Excel, making the transition smoother for teams used to managing projects in spreadsheets. I recommend the tool to others since it is scalable and easy to set up. I rate it a ten out of ten.
I would recommend it as a suitable product for beginners. After the user base expands significantly, you might want to consider a different solution like QuickBase. But for those starting out with a limited number of users, it's a good choice. I would rate it eight out of ten.

I advise others to use Smartsheet for its in-built automation features. It helps create dashboards and maintain the data in one place. Also, we can put a message with a heading and description, attach snapshots, and track running issues as well, unlike Excel. I rate the solution as a nine.

The advice I would give to others trying to use this solution is to go and use the trial version and see what its like first. Overall, I would rate this solution an eight, on a scale from one to 10, with one being the worst and 10 being the best.
I am an end-user. I'm unsure if I am using the latest version of the solution. Whether or not the solution is right for a user depends on the project's complexity and how they want to utilize it. The user needs to have an understanding of what they want from the tool, and then explore via free versions or study about it online and then go for it. I'd rate the solution eight out of ten. The ease of use and reporting is great.
I have some experience with Lucidchart, and I also have experience with Smartsheet. I'm using the cloud version of Smartsheet, which is constantly updated. Close to two thousand people use Smartsheet within my company. One person is enough for the deployment and maintenance of the platform. I advise anyone looking into using Smartsheet to start small and try it out first. Once you have the buy-in, you could scale it. My rating for Smartsheet is eight out of ten. My company is a customer of Smartsheet.
I rate Smartsheet nine out of 10. Smartsheet has room for improvement, but they're moving in the right direction. If you're planning to implement Smartsheet, you need to take the time to prepare upfront. Depending on the organization's size, you need to gain experience and train some superusers. You need a few people to learn the ins and outs and get in-depth training in the specific features they will utilize. Learn as much as possible about the system and do a lot of hands-on training right out of the gate.
My advice would be to not be intimidated by this tool. If you know Excel, you know 80% of how to work with Smartsheet. It is quite flexible. The main difference is you can more strongly type the columns, which is a good thing because you're ensuring that the data records that you are producing and managing contain the data that they should. It is good data validation. You end up with cleaner and stronger data that's easier to work with. So, you shouldn't be intimidated by that. It is so similar to Excel, but you get the additional workflow. From a project perspective, the only thing you couldn't do is be able to level resources in a project plan, but it has got all the other project features. It has got a really simple workflow engine to notify people and communicate. So, it has a lot of power, and people should not be intimidated by it. It is pretty straightforward, and they should feel like they can get up to speed quickly in it. If you're used to working with Excel and other tools like that, you can get into Smartsheet and be productive very quickly. I'd give it a 9 out of 10. It is a great tool for the things that I use it for. It would be a 10 or an 11 if the dashboard components were more aware of each other. If it had the same capabilities as Domo, it would be a top-tier tool.

I cannot say which version of the solution we’re using. I’m not sure. How I can access the solution depends on which organization I’m working with. I can access it through a VPN or I can access it through web mail. Compared to even when I use Microsoft Project, for example, which I would probably use for a curriculum thing if you were collecting updates as a project manager, so people would email them, you're going to be chasing them around. Plus, you're entering all the data before you can really do anything with it. This solution is really great in that sense, as everybody has access to it once you set it up and can start entering information themselves. And it's easy to set up, so it's not hard. For project management, it's just a good solution that's fairly simple to implement. It doesn't require a lot of like upgrades or maintenance from the project manager. For large programs where there are multiple contributors, or multiple people working on different tasks, it's a good solution. It actually makes your work as a project manager a lot easier. I’d rate the solution nine out of ten. It’s simple to use, easy to set up, and really works for non-co-located environments. In academia you often have people running off to conferences and stuff, even if you are in the office. The ability to have multiple users on the sheet at the same time so they can enter their own information is great. I’m a customer and end-user.

I believe it all depends on how you intend to use it. Platforms are used for specific purposes. I would recommend this solution to others who are interested in using it. I think it's a great tool. I would rate it a seven because I believe it greatly facilitates the creation of a project plan. And then, if you needed to change dates due to a process being pushed back or content not being delivered on time, it's very easy to do so by changing one line and everything else would change. I would rate Smartsheet a seven out of ten.

It is easily a 10/10 for me.
If you are an organization that embraces a hybrid project management methodology (Predictive & Agile) then Smartsheet is your tool.
With premium add-ons to help customize your workflow, there simply isn't anything missing, in my opinion, in terms of functionality. It just depends on what you think of the UI... the spreadsheet interface doesn't sit well with everyone.

I am a user and customer. I'm using the cloud version, therefore, I'm on the latest version of the product. It's a SaaS product. I'd rate the solution a nine out of ten.
I would highly recommend this tool. It's sophisticated and uses the fundamentals of an Excel spreadsheet to coordinate things. There's a lot of familiarity with spreadsheets already and that's what Smartsheet is but with advanced features that include notifications, communication, attachments, and other features. I would encourage everybody to take a look at it. I rate this solution nine out of 10.

I think it's a solution that's definitely worth looking into. I don't know what the cost would be in terms of deploying for a business. And I'm also not sure how it stacks up to other solutions, but I think for unlimited use or even for an enterprise company, it's definitely worth having a look at. I'm not a frequent user but I use it for particular use cases. I don't log on every day, only when I need access to what I've stored there. I tend to store more long-term ongoing-type tasks as opposed to limited projects. I rate the solution eight out of 10.

It is a really robust tool, and it has really improved. They've improved its user interface a lot. Before using this tool, I would advise evaluating the size of your organization and your security needs. If you don't have too many people using Smartsheet, or if you have less than 50 licensed people, it is completely acceptable to go with the standard implementation. It isn't at all bad for a small startup in terms of pricing. Similarly, if there isn't really a huge need for security, you don't need to go with the enterprise version. It is significantly more expensive. Because we're a fairly large organization compared to startups, we went with the enterprise solution, which provides a slew of features. It is more than okay to go with the basic version of it. I would rate Smartsheet an eight out of ten. There are some small flaws, but it is definitely a very powerful tool.
